Now watch a lot of our posts start being "invisible" due to our supposed spoilers XP

And some of you mentioned thinking Shep was going to brake out or be in handcuffs? O.o Blah- y
all need to get the gameinformer issue. I kinda posted bac a few pgs [2-3] about how the opening was kinda gonna b like according to Casey. Pretty much similar to me2- moving from point a to b as the invasion happens to fight/flee.Whereas me2-u went from point a to b on the normandy to get joker and escape. [except obviously the escape didnt go to well....]

@Arcian: That Mass effect version of Captain Planet's theme just made my morning. Thank you so much XDDDDDD

About the naming of the spectre squads.......Why not just call them "Shepards"? Ya know- like REAL shepards that lead herds and such. Or have some of those funky techy names. Omega, Alpha,Cosmic, Beta, etc XD
AND that gives me something to wonder: I wonder what Garrus called his team when he was Archangel. Because HE has an alias, but what about the rest of them? If it was just Arch's Angels thats lame. And it gives me a Charlie's Angels vibe.......LOL!!!
yea im weird. Gimme some slack-----I work up not to long ago-Brain not fully awake. heh

edit: BLAH brb with totpg.....
heres some morning humor[at least morning for me] posted by urs trulyPosted Image

Call me naive, but I'd LIKE to think that once, you know, the motherf---ing REAPERS start attacking everyone, capturing Shep will be the last of the Alliance's concerns.  Unless they have their heads so far up their rears they surpass even the Council.

One of the things I dislike about the Mass Effect franchise is how all the authority figures are handed the Idiot Ball as the plot demands.  It stretches credibility to the limit that these people are so narrow-minded that they don't realize their own petty prejudices don't match up against, say, galactic extinction <_<

They don't know yet. Shep hasn't provided any cold, hard evidence as of post ME2. If they keep it up after the Reapers show up, then yeah, you've got a point.

From what I've heard, the GI article says Shepard will be at trial and the trial will be interrupted by a Reaper attack on earth, at which point we book it back to the Normandy - I'd assume we're allowed to book it, but that hasn't been established. I don't know this for sure, but it seems reasonable. Also, apparently GI does not exist for me. Oh I have last month's but not the ME issue.

I don't know about you guys, but in ME3 I'd looooove to see the Turian Military in action. The only time we really saw them in a big engagement- or anyone really -was the final space battle in ME1. It sucked because the codex seemed to give their army so much character in how they fight and what their military culture is like. I was left wanting. I want big epic ground battles and so on.

Also, I doubt anyone here would object to seeing more badass turian guys. It would provide an entire new generation of lust-worthy individuals to draw without shirts.

I know this obviously happen but It'd be hilarious if the officials are still in denial of reapers when they show up.Posted Image

edit: ok my still isnt being censored. stupid text.....we need spoiler tags!

Yeah, in Evolution we got an inkling of what the turian military are like. And it was nice, and very different to see them merging military and religion/myth together.

but the normandy was "reclaimed". studied, taken apart and rebuilt....again im guessing. >.< adding new rooms and parts according to that article. more rooms, more fun Posted Image but yea- its either we take the normandy back, or they actually let shep go.
I bet garrus will make some comment about how the normandy underwent more changes.
I love the tone he said : "And they rebuild the normandy with a few upgrades to boot...."

I'm sure this has been discussed already, but I'm so out of the loop, and I think it would probably come up again given this bevy of new information on ME3 we've had access to, but you guys think they'll ever add in Turian females? I mean, if they're going to the Salarian homeworld I'd like to think they'd HAVE to add in the Salarian females (though we didn't see any on the Krogan homeworld, though they had the whole explanation of them being in different camps for breeding). So if they do go to Palaven as well, they would definitely need to add them in, at least in my opinion, especially now that we actually know what they look like from the comics.

In addition, here's my theory as to the REAL reason they were never in the first or second games.

I've missed a ton.  Stupid RL getting in the way of my video games.   Stupid RL being stupid.  Hopefully I'll be back in full capacity for Skyping and LiveStreaming in a few days.....  hopefully.

For now though, I found an absolutely stunning picture of Garrus that I have never seen before.
My turians and friends keep me going. Thanks guys.
Without further ado....

Oh and on the tattoos v. war paint thing.. I think the comment about "painted on bone" is in the asari species video. I think the term tattoo gets used a lot but that the actual practice is very long-lasting paint. We had this discussion several pages back and I can't really remember if we came to a conclusion on the subject but we have been getting conflicting info from the devs. Just as there is conflicting info on the collar/cowl (the Garrus video indicates the devs don't really have definite answers either).

By looking at the pictures of his healed scar I'd say it's a tattoo... if it were war paint then he'd apply it over the scars.

Sorry about the way back quote. Been working.

Somehow, my headcannon says that they have a particular/special stain(or paint, or tattoo ink) for the amino baised species that won't react badly to it; the asari with turian bondmates are the ones I'm mostly thinking of.

Can we all just compromise and say that Garrus's facepaint is something almost, but not entirely, unlike tattooing? I'm sure the process is some weird hybrid thing that we don't understand.

On a related note, ever draw on yourself with sharpie? That can last for a long time, if you don't exfoliate the hell out of it. There's also hennah (which can last for weeks), and a girl I know was once working with actual indigo dye for a textiles project... she had blue hands for MONTHS after. So some kind of dye-tattoo-facepaint hybrid, maybe?

Or maybe he just fell asleep at a party and someone drew on his face with space marker. Awkwaaaaaaard.

If I could fanart, and I had any idea what a young turian would look like, I'd so draw young Sol drawing on sleepy pre-teen Garrus's face with spacemarkers.

d'aaaaaw. My mental pictures, why will you not appear on paper magically?
