For some reason, I can see them both being ridiculously formal with Shepard when the other is present.  Despite the desire both of them may have to punch the other guy out (if only for the sake of feeling more manly), I can't see either one of them making a scene about it or drawing attention to their relationship with the commander when the other man in her life is present.

I honestly would be over the moon if they both handle that... issue maturely. Also, RELEVANT COMIC WHY CAN'T I FIND YOU? If anyone else can find the relevant comic, I will be grateful.

Yeah, I want to see them handle it maturely, too (even though I've never cheated on Kaidan).  Ultimately, each will swallow his pride and walk out without losing his cool, then blame himself for things going wrong.

Kaidan's thoughts on being dumped: Can't believe Shepard fell for a turian, but it's my own damn fault for not trusting her and being there for her.  I should never have let her go...

Garrus' thoughts on being dumped: Should have seen this coming.  Damn, but this sort of thing would never work out, anyway--we can't even eat the same food!  Can't help but want to punch Alenko in the face a little, but this is my fault for seeing it as anything more than a fling.

Another reason I like this thread is I can say dumb things and people won't get upset. I was doing some Kaidan theorizing in the Kaidan thread, and people got all rawr and I was like eep and I came back here to hide.

(Rarg I swear there is literally a comic of Garrus and Kaidan in an elevator commenting on Shepard and I can't find it and why don't I just favorite EVERYTHING on Deviantart ever and I should get back to my other project).

I think that Kaidan would be a bit hurt, but he'd understand. He knows that Shepard and Garrus have been fighting together forever... and I'm pretty sure he knows that he hurt her on Horizon. He's a smart guy. (Thank you BioWare.)

And, yeah, I tend to be afraid to venture to the Kaidan thread. I went there a few times and it was not pretty. The Joker thread is kinda nice though.

Either before the relay: "Regardless Shepard, Im honored to be here."
or the night of the relay jump: "Im be there when you need me."

and yes- cheez; I noticed that too. Further leading into that Alliance theory perhaps? They have practically the SAME collar. Garrus seems to have an extra shirt underneath that collar, while Kaiden has just the "H", meaning he just has that collar shirt on. Garrus has the "H" but another shirt.

You can always hide here.  Unlike many threads, the Garrus thread has always been chill, (hopefully) always will be.  I love it here.

Yes! The colour seems to indicate something Alliance-related but it would be sweet if Garrus finally got to be a Spectre.

Well I recently was looking at the ME Wiki timeline, and it said there was only a month between the Battle of the Citadel and Shep gettin' Spaced, which made me realize she and Kaidan didn't have a lot of time together. And then I looked at the letter and Horizon and I thought... man. It could be that Ilos was the only night they really connected. I mean I'm sure they flirted and stuff after that, but based on the fact that Kaidan asks 'do you even remember that night, and doesn't mention anything else, it's very likely that they had that night on Ilos, and then some chats and flirting, but I think the obvious conclusion is that they didn't have any major relationship progression after Ilos. It's open to interpretation of course, there's plenty of leeway there, but if you're just trying to come to the most logical conclusion, based just on the email...

(Ugh, too much caffeine tonight, I reread my posts and my phrasing sounds insane.)

Yeah, that's a problem for everyone, really.  The time Shepard spends together with ANY LI is far too short to really know for sure where it's going...

Tragic, really.  I hope ME3 provides some nice closure and lets you know how everyone really feels.

@CGG: Well thats actually accurate. I mean- me2 STARTS with it being a month after the events of me1. And Shep was sent to the neighboring systems to take out any remaining geth. So who knows how long Shep's been out there. Could be RIGHT after or give or take a couple days after me1. a week? Regardless- Yes, kaiden and shep didnt really spend time together other than being on some missions, and on the normandy for a handful of days/weeks.

@Obys: Who the heck would risk their life walking into a room with knowing both Garrus & Shep are alone in there? XD
