But... he's not hideous.  It's been said multiple times that he's rather attractive... Even when he gets all scarred, it adds to it.  We don't swoon over him just cause we like his personality (though we do. A lot. A very lot.) 
Turians are an attractive race. Very much so.

do Turians paint/tattoo/stain the hard parts on their bodies too?
I was attempting to draw Nihlus and suddenly imagined him shirtless with those fancy white markings on his chest.

Yh. I think Turians are beautiful. They have stricking eyes, and the patterns contrast beautifully agaisnt their skin(?, exoskeleton?). Their bodies also have an interesting shape. That coupled with their voices and how awesome Garrus is means Turians are my favourite race.

Edit: If you attempt to judge them by human standard I think you're going to find them to be "hideous". Thane looks too similar to a human, so I judge him by human standards because its harder to seperate, and while I like the Character, I really don't like his face, I think its mostly horrible to be honest.

If this was real life I'm sure I'd be more scared than anything, its an alien, but its a game and I look at the romance as a beautiful love story, I'm not worrying about how attractive I personally find the Character either, otherwise I would have dumped Liara come Mass Effect 2, I couldn't even stand her in the first game.

i should also be sleeping. Nihlus-senses tingling....   first of all damn what an idea.  i'm gonig to say that in my headcanon, yes yes they do. Cause that is a hot idea that actually does make sense. I'm thinking something Fenris-y, a la Dragon Age.

So I just realized it's past April, so I was looking online for the Series 2 Mass Effect figures to order Garrus, and only just now saw that the second series was canceled. I has a major sad.

I was going to order an extra one and do a loyalty armor repaint, too. You suck, DC Direct.

I realize this is probably old news to you guys, but I hadn't been keeping up so I was quite surprised and annoyed. ._.

From what I have been hearing, Bioware has given up on DC Direct (it took me nearly six months to get my Loghain figure which arrived just in time for the ME Series 2 cancellation). But they are definitely keen to find a new manufaturer in the future (haven't heard if they've made any real plans yet though). So..there is still hope, of a fashion. As an avid figure collector, I feel your pain Was going to buy most of Series 2.

I hope they do find a new manuafacturer. I want a Garrus figure. I would buy that immediately. I'd also love a figure print where I could get my Shepard and Garrus with their sniper rifles being awesome. I'm not sure how they would do that, but I think it should be possible.
