I'm not really a figure collector... Well, I would be if I coulf afford it, lets say that. HOWEVER, I do want a Garrus that I can bring with me everywhere. They should go through McFarlan? maybe? McFarlan does amazing toys for allll different games and such.

From what I have been hearing, Bioware has given up on DC Direct (it took me nearly six months to get my Loghain figure which arrived just in time for the ME Series 2 cancellation). But they are definitely keen to find a new manufaturer in the future (haven't heard if they've made any real plans yet though). So..there is still hope, of a fashion. Reading this post and then researching the ME figures gave me a happy and then a sad and then a happy and finally a sad in such rapid sucession.

I used to collect figures, I have a lot of the Justice League Unlimited figures, and I have probably hundreds of anime gatchapon, as well as a lot of classic figures and statues. I had kind of stopped collecting, but when you said "Mass Effect figures" I thought ooooh, maybe I'll get one or two. I'd take a Tali, I still like her, and I'd definitely want a Mordin, maybe a Legion too. But then I saw that one of the figures is manshep, and while that's perfectly reasonable, it makes me sad, 'cause I know there'll never be a femshep. /sigh

I may still pick up Tali and Grunt if I get a chance. I like 'em Ok. I don't think I'll get Thane or Manshep. I hope they find a new manufacturer... Mordin and Legion would be irresistable.

Awesome obsy! This is probably right up there with my favourite Garrus fanart. Also, Shepard looks so look like, well Shepard, that it is amazing. Very talented artist here!

I've spent the whole day sketching up a portrait of shirtless Garrus on a 16x20 canvas. I like the way it looks but I don't have the guts to start painting it.  About to shotgun a can of rootbeer for caffeinated courage.

Do it, Platform! I spent all night working on my Nihlus, and actually starting a shirtless Nihlus. so the WIP from that should be happening soon. Also, I need more ideas for the Turian Harem.

and i've got something special cooking for my Nihlus.

As the ratio of caffeine consumed compared to hours slept approaches infinity, the closer my OTP gets to one giant orgy with everything.

ah, the whole cancellation about the Series 2 mass effect figures. Yea- when i found out back then i was devastated The only fig i REAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYY wanted was Garrus. I was gonna have him on the top of my tall entertainment center with him in a sniping position XD
Its truly sad, but theres hope because Bioware said they were going to have a deal with another manufacturer. DC direct was unprofessional on how they handled the situation and their business. Bioware knows how many people wanted the series 2 figs also, so they're looking into other manufacturers to get it done
Garrus will come one way or another......in time. [time that is hard to wait cuz i want one so badly!!!!]

@Cheez: I SUPPORT that agenda! Seriously, someone's gotta make some banners!!!

In a smoker's jacket being classy, yes. Also maybe trying to nonchalantly sneak Bartender Turian's shot away from him. He's classy, but he's also an adorable lush.
