Do we know any turian proverbs? I've been looking, but maybe proverbs are a human thing.

One of the random planets in ME2 had a description that said it was a Turian colony that was so dangerous/inhospitable it became a Turian saying. It went something like "thinking building a house on X was a good idea" which was a long way of saying "dumb idea." Does anyone know which planet it was?

Septimus says "They can kiss my leathery backside" when referring to the turian fleet.. but that's more of an insult. I'm sure there's one or two proverbial sayings hiding in some of the CDN entries. They seem to refer to "spirits" and "talons" often, if memory serves.

And unrelated, I had a bit of an idea for something we could add to the Livestream loop. Currently it plays mostly videos relating to Garrus but I was thinking it could be really cool to add the (ever-growing) playlist that Jello has been keeping track of (hm, haven't seen it in a few pages..) and maybe add some visuals to go along with the music. There's certainly a lot of fanart that could be added, though I am not sure of the best method to put something together that would easily allow the addition of new images/music (which is sort of where the idea falls flat).

Anyway, just trying to come up with new and interesting things to add to Palaven (and figured images/sound would be less bandwidth intensive for folks who have bandwidh limits to worry about). Another idea was to stream episodes of Firefly since a lot of folks have an interest in watching it lately but that would involve finding a time that works for multiple people.

......so here' s a funny thing. I'm talking to my boy (its why i'm on so early) and we're talking about ME2, he's finaly gotten to start it...and he's like "i bring Garrus and Jack with me everywhere"
So of course, my response is "GARRUS! YES" (which... may have been overdoing it) and he's like "why you so excited about Garrus? He doesn't stand out..."

I didn't think that with him being on the other side of the world for the next few months it was the best time to start talking about xenophelia and loving a turian. lol. but it made me sad. he also isnt really liking ME2. big sadface.
I just fear his reaction when he finds that that i have a wicked crush on a turian and find them altogether sexy

that said... leonia, i like the idea of adding the playlist. just means someone would have to actually make it and get it on there.

The name could come from "mercurial" to emphasize a changing and unpredictable nature.Just like Garrus, Mercutio even knew the "grey"

I would have really liked Romeo and Juliet if it didn't have Romeo in, or Juliet . But Mercutio (and Benvolio, but more Mercutio) made that play. And I can totally see the brotastic parallels with Garrus .

Also, his legendary charm with the ladies. I mean, despite the differences, Garrus had us all seduced. So he must be pretty damn smooth.

Attention garrus thread!

I need someone to record/or write down what Garrus says to you when you break up with him at certain parts of the romance.

1. Right after reach and flexibility, so turning him down after he says "you can find something a little bit closer to home"

2. After the heat sink convo, so turning him down after he says "part of me thinks we're crazy for even considering...blowing off steam"

3. We know since it’s on youtube *tear* when you dump him during the romance scene... it's pretty hard to watch so no one has to do this for science thank goodness.

I ask because the dialogue is apparently different for 1 and 2 but I don’t know what it is he says exactly.
