I really raged here, but for other reasons  I took him with me and Shep protected Liara. Liara! Instead of her most beloved Garrus!!!! I think I yelled at the screen >.<

Yeah, jumping to save Liara annoyed me, too because I really just don't like her. I mean, I know she retrieved your corpse and whatever, but Garrus is way more important to Shepard than Liara. But, I get it, it's her DLC. Just would have rather jumped the other way. Liara's got Biotics, she'll be fine.

Also, that comic is awesome!

I did romance Garrus in my first play-through but I'm wondering if you guys thought that romance was as satisfying as Thane's. I looked at the YouTube videos for the Thane romance and it seems like there is a lot more depth of emotion there.

So I'm curious about your thoughts on this. Do you think Garrus cares about Shepard as much as Thane does and he's just not as expressive? Or is the relationship he has with Shepard more of a fling to him than what you could have with Thane?

I found that Garrus relationship was the most natural (to me, of course). They've known each other for a long time, they trust each other, they're friends and they started to think about something else. They make jokes, they chat with confidence and they're more close than any other couple in the game. As we approach the end, it's obvious that it's not just a fling, it's a tender, emotional and trustable way to develop a romance. 

I've always found the other romance stories a little forced, too fast, too much flirting... I just didn't like them.

To me, Garrus romance is just perfect.
