[Shiny Something]

Haven't been on here (or the forums) for a while. SIlly college work eating my life, thankfully my exams will be over in 2 weeks.
Also I'm happy about the later release it means I won't have money issues around christmas ( Garrus> everything else)

Also yesterday I realised somehing, I was talking with my younger brother about mass effect, when I realised I was sounding very obsessed and talking about the Garrus romance and my brother looked at me and said ''you romanced garrus?'' I was like ''yes?'' and he said ''oh thats cool, garrus is my shep's bro'' and I now have respect for my brother. Haha I expected him to insult me for my obsession with Garrus ( and all turians)

So, since I'm new here, does posting at the top of the page mean you have to post a picture as well? I got a TOTP post once and did not put a picture up. I can find something nice when I'm not at work and post it later. I have a particularly nice one in mind, but I'm sure everyone's already seen it before (As much as I'd love to I'm not reading through all the threads and archives).

Also that picture is awesome/hilarious. Garrus mashups are always great!

Actually, after I posted this, I decided to go back to the archives to find the exact moment when the thread discovers Garrus is an LI in ME 2. Right now I'm in thread 2 and everyone is lamenting that they think BioWare is giving them Thane instead of Garrus and that Samara will break her code and be fanservice thus knocking Tali out of the running. It's exciting because it's like watching a movie you know the ending to and you're yelling at the screen, "Just you wait, guys. It's going to be awesome!"

That is awesome. I also respect your brother.  Oi, all of my friends just kinda pat me on the head and move along. lol.  None of them really get it. And my boy doesn't really like the game or Garrus. So thats gonna be a bit awkward soon. lol. 
stories are fun. specially random ones. 

Also, TotP is just for fun. and usually if whoever has TotP doesn't post a picture, someone will rectify it soon. I need to get it soon, I have the perfect picture.

Yeah, TotP...I do that if I'm on a machine where I can get one easily...if I'm on my phone, though, I don't bother.  It's hassle enough just typing out posts.  So generally: do what you want regarding TotP.  There is no rule.

As per my digging around in the archives: I wasn't on the boards for the release of ME 2 so it was fun to go back and see the initial reactions to Garrus' romance.

Ha ha! Glad you like them. I've loved doing Garrus Effect 1 and 2. I still have a bunch of N7 missions to do as him, so there'll probably be more. Not to mention the fact I got some new vid ideas, mwa ha ha. 

As for gunporn... do I need to make you a special album just of Garrus pointing guns?

I too, am a purveyor of gun pron.  Always thought Garrus sporting some old school firearms of the modern variety would make cool fanart.

Heheh, none of us cosplayed, but we did watch a lot of cosplayers. There were some really good ones and a lot of...er...well, let's just say there isn't always enough brainbleach. Sometimes you just can't unsee...

No Mass Effect cosplayers that I could see, sadly. But I did see Gir and there were Star Wars and Halo cosplayers aplenty.
