Yes, probably it will be something like saving Captain Kirrahe: we'll have to do various things to influence the events and give him a chance to survive, more than solving everything just with a special dialogue choice, but I don't think it will be unavoidable.

I feel fairly certain that they're not going to forceably kill off their most popular character. options... yes. but... manditory... i sincerely doubt it.

is it sad that i would... just to see what would happen? i have this seriously masohistic streak. I live on angst. it a story makes me sob like a child, then i will probbaly love it forever.

that said... I would immediatly go back and undo it.

In DA:O i tried every option so i could see how the angst would affect the NPCs. ...

i'm kinda pathetic.
Also, stuck in 16.5 hour day at work. this sucks. i'm so glad that i have access (if minimal) to the interwebz, and thus, all you fine people.)

Also, workin on fun not so sekrit projects.
