Well I would try it to, just to see how dramatic it would be, but
re-load immediately afterwards! Garrus musn't die!

I don't think BioWare is going to kill anyone, I think that it is up to us to choose who dies or who lives.

I mean, it wouldn't be fair to just kill the person everybody loves just like that, and not give us an opportunity to save him .

Thane, Nihlus, and Wrex ( depending on your decison) are already on the list.  Are they really planing on killing off Garrus too?  If this is true, I hope there is a way to save him.

I can see there being a choice where you have to kill Wrex, Garrus, or Tali. One of your original spacebros, but not Liara, because so far she has had the best plot armor of anyone.

I still don't think they'll kill Garrus off.
That would lose them so many fans, and though this may be the end of THIS series.. BioWare plans on making many more games.
Several of them in the Mass Effect universe.
And above anything else.. they still bow to the allmighty dollar.   So, while Garrus may be Too Cool.... he's still making them money.

He was.  And Wrex basically pwned him all the time.

The point of this thread is NOT to remind me that ME1 Wrex totally gave me shivers. That is one of my favorite lines of his.

And yes, in ME1 Garrus was a huge jerk. When I heard he was romanceable in 2, I was like "well that's not going to tempt me."*

Ooh, you may be onto something CGG. I'd say they already did that on Virmire, but I honestly don't see that stopping them from trying it from a different angle. Alternatively: a choice between killing one of your spacebros or letting some other group of generic innocents die? And then, dealing with the fallout when your spacebro is all 'you should have sacrificed meeee.'

Also, apropos of nothing, I again have some more very random vaguely innapropriate NPC turian to share with you all. Today, it's that guy who runs the gun shop on the citadel. Please enjoy a small lulz.

 @MoonEcho: Hmmm....Sacrificing Garrus and let many innocent people live or Save Garrus and let them die? That's rather an easy decision... I would choose Garrus of course!!

I hate to say it but that feels kind of possible. It would be great to end ME3 with my ME1 alien bros though... If Wrex and team Dextro is back as full time squadmates BioWare can count on adding my money to their profit.
