Wow!

That was brilliant.


On Garrus dying: Learn a lesson from Optimus Prime.
How many kids did they make cry? How many people turned away from the franchise? They had to bring him back and somehow I don't see Cerberus sparing their resources for a non-human.

Nihlus was the character that really grabbed me at the beginning of the game. I though wow, now that's an interesting character I want to know more about. I was upset when he died, most of the other turians didn't come close. It did make me hate Saren though so he served his purpose plot wise... Garrus took a while to grow on me. At the end of the game I was ranting about how I should be able to romance him. I ended up sleeping with Liara in ME1 because my boyfriend wanted to see lesbian sex...  I played it on the Xbox and then I lost my save somehow. I more than upset when I turned ME2 on on my Xbox and I couldn't import my save. Eventually I got ME! on PC and I decided to play with no love interest and save myself for Garrus. I am so happy with my decisions and everything in ME2 I don't think I'll play it again. I'm just finishing off some DLC now...

I feel like Nihlus completed the trope of Too Cool to Live. We just didn't know exactly how cool he was until after he died. I mean, I thought he was cool before and was looking forward to spending more time with him (before getting murdered), but we really didn't know the extent of his coolness until Samara's story.

Anywho, I've got a question for all you Turian fans. How do you reckon Garrus would get a long with someone who is just as snarky/sarcastic as he is, but who has slightly more 'relaxed' ethics and morals?

Meh. He's not dead.  Obsydian's just hiding him in her cabin. It was just a flesh wound.

Also... I think he'd be fine with it.  if you figure that Garrus has pretty relaxed morals too.  unless you mean like... killing children kittens random people. i'm not sure he'd like that.  but i think they'd get along quite nicely when they weren't trying to kill  outsnark each other.


also, need a good turian female name.

For me, this would depend on a lot of variables: is this person affiliated with Shepard, or not? Turian, human, or something else? What is the context, and where in Garrus's personal cannon are we when this is happening?

There's definitely a fine line here between Garrus being subtly influenced more towards Renegadeism, and him saying "whoa whoa whoa, this guy is messed up," and disapproving heartily.

@Skorpious: Nothing wrong with his mandible--you're just seeing it from an angle where you only see the very edge of it. The weird angle makes it look like a chunk of that metal tubing around his collar is fused to his face.

I think what your seeing is part of the suit...check the left side of the collar. There's nothing on his face.
