Yes, but the same device is seen in the concept art of ME3 Garrus (the one in Arcian's avatar) - you can clearly see that it is not part of his suit.

That was just concept art--a lot can change between that and the final render. Besides, on the picture on the left, you can see there's nothing there.

Not to sound like shameless self promotion, but I saw on the last page of this thread that you guys were talking about both female turians and fanfiction so I figured I put mine here.

First Chapter's a little slow, second Chapter is a doozy that might turn some of you off, but it's pretty action-y and the main character is a female turian spectre.

Ah Arrival, the only DLC I don't like. /shakesfistatsky

I'd do it after. Narratively, it makes more sense after; consensus is it shouldn't logically be available until after the SM.

I liked Arrival.  I'm starting to think I'm in the minority on that one.

Overlord is the only plot DLC released after ME2 that I think can be logically played before the suicide mission.  Shadow Broker and Arrival make a hell of a lot more sense after than before.

I'm still not sure whether to get Arrival or not.
I'm nearing the end of my canon ME2 PT (only 2 more LM and then Garrus brings me wine and terrible music).

I think you're right about it being for Shepard.
I can just see him walking into Kasumi's room and her playing bartender.
Garrus: "Hit me."
Kasumi slides him a dextro-friendly shot.
Garrus takes the shot, does the Shepard head shake, slams the shot glass back down and strides off.
Kasumi: "Go get her, you magnificent B*stard." (She probably enjoys playing the part)

Ya know? I actually forgot about Overlord. Was that one worth it? I've got (and played through) LotSB. I enjoyed it. and thought it fit beforehand. I can totally see why Arrival wouldn't though.

I totally always assumed that the wine was for Shepard.

Or that the writers forgot that they couldn't share it.... lol.

They could share it, theoretically. If there weren't any additives or anything, I'm sure there are drinks that are safe for both species, just not necessarily full of nutrition (not that alcohol really is).

I imagine the wine is more for Garrus' benefit, to help break the ice..lucky for him, Shepard's interested in something other than talking.

I suppose their might be drinks for both.   I know there was a discussion on here before regarding whether or not the alcohol content would effect whether or not they could drink it.
