Theres a series on DA called "After the Reapers" thats actually pretty sweet, with some sensual scenes in it. But overall its a series of short fics that show the progression of their relationship after omega4relay jump
some even take place during dlc too

Thinking about it more, I really should hate Garrus. I mean, seriously, he was a smug little dick in ME1--a rookie cop with an attitude problem, one of those self-righteous and "edgy" pretty-boy types that I usually hate. And then in ME2 he does that whole Archangel stint, gets all rage-hatey over revenge, and is consumed by drama, brooding, and violence. As Joker said, he'd worked that pole out of his ass, but now he's beating people to death with it. I normally despise characters with these traits, so what makes me love the spiky bastard so much?

Garrus' flaws, as much as I hate them, are an essential part of who he is, and I wouldn't take him any other way.
Its like you mindraped me and stole my thoughts. I thought i was some of the only ppl who thought about disliking him at first....so i would never mention it here fearing of causing some fangirl rage against me. Ive always disliked characters with that kind of trait[s]. In every game, show, story whatever, ive never been a huge fan. Goes against what I believe in, in some sort of way. I love justice but not to resort to going to a place and just going all vigilante-crazy. Ive questioned myself why i love the guy so much as well and the list u posted pretty much sums up how I feel EXACTLY. [so much so its scary how much to the point u got down
] The fact that Garrus has those particular traits, combined with his faults is what makes him believable and that much more admirable as a person....-er turian.
I guess one fact Ive come to love Garrus so much is the fact that he
needs Shepard. Theres no going around that lightly. We all know it, and even better- Garrus knows it full well. Knowing he doesnt have the best judgement, and confessing this to Shep, and putting such faith in her to follow from her example is something to somewhat awe at. I cant help but feel for the guy, and wanting to steer him in the right direction - even if he might just object to it. And to makes him better - He learns from it. I mean seriously- "Sparing" Sidonis brought out one of- if not the best line in the game from garrus that shows so much about his character in just 2 simple lines:
"So much easier to see the world in black & white."
"But gray? I dont know what to do with gray..."And the fact he picks himself up after each bad turn of events and throws in some humor to make it seem he's alright [though hurting on the inside] is something to commend. He doesnt want to be a burden to anyone, especially Shepard.
D'awwwwww Garrus.....u silly silly turian. We love u regardless.
edit: Great...i just realized i wrote an essay tooXD Funny how I call pull out an essay without putting much thought about Garrus, but back in high school - i had to brainstorm XD @ least here i can write about stuff i actually care about.
