If I skip sleep... gee, I dunno, a couple of hours? Fortunately the weekend is here, so I can just waste away writing it all I like. That was my intention, too, I'm on one of the best writing rolls in many weeks. Still a damn far way to go, argh.Obsydian wrote...

Not to stray wildly off topic... but I'm playing through Overlord now... was anyone else creeped out by this one? my gods. its like a zombie movie. i love it.
k.. and yes, i totally agree that someone should be voiced by Gideon Emery
I wouldn't mind Emery as long as he sounds like Fenris. I loved Fenris' accent. <3Shadow_Soul wrote...

okay, I missed that part then. Either way, I still want Gideon Emery, damn it! Or maybe David Tennant....John Barrowman? Nah, Emery. Tennant and Barrowman are awesometoo though, they should be in ME3.....heheh.

The one who desperately needed the everloving snot kicked out of him? Yeah, I know who you're talking about.Eradyn wrote...
Aside from lack of squad dialogue...Overlord was very good. Very moving. The end sent chills up my spine; at least the ending I chose. I wanted to reach through that screen and beat that guy...you know who I'm talking about.

I'm still stuck midway through DA:O. It just doesn't capture me... I like Alistair fine and all, but the story and world don't get me in the same way. I do have a thing for guys who prefer to follow than to lead, but I think that's because I prefer to lead. Actually... no... my perfect setup is a first in command/second in command setup, where who takes charge varies depending on the situation. But when do you ever find that?
Ugh... DA:O, Bioshock, ME1 again (Renegade Sentinel), or Arcanum: of Steamworks and Magic Obscura? I don't know what to play. Also, my WoW people are asking me if I am dead or not. I don't know what to tell them. Yes, I died and went to Mass Effect?
Overlord has some of my favorite environments in Mass Effect, at least when I don't have to do combat or "platforming' in the Hammerhead. And yes, the ending scene is incredibly moving, and I can't imagine how anyone could make the Renegade decision. It remains to be seen whether I'll be able to make it even on my Sociopath! Shepard. The final sequence is one of the most graphically beautiful and emotional things in Mass Effect.
