Not to stray wildly off topic... but I'm playing through Overlord now... was anyone else creeped out by this one? my gods. its like a zombie movie. i love it.

Aside from lack of squad dialogue...Overlord was very good. Very moving. The end sent chills up my spine; at least the ending I chose. I wanted to reach through that screen and beat that guy...you know who I'm talking about.

I do, Eradyn. Seriously. that was effed up. and yes with the chills. the entire thing had me glancing around my very empty house from time to time, half expecting geth to pop out at me. and that last bit... when the seperation occurs.. damn.

but yes. beatings. which ending did you choose? Paragon or Renegade? I couldn't do the renegade. i just... i couldn't. too horrible.

there was one scene though, at the very beginning.. when you begin talking to the doctor and your squaddies are doing random things... Garrus was dragging a body and looking it over with his omnitool. it was adorable, and I may need to go back into it and screenshot it.

Eh, I'm not going to do Overlord (or LOtSB or Firewalker or anything else) until I complete my canon PT of ME2. And I have to finish DA2 first. And...that may actually happen. XD

i still haven't finished DA2. its in Afghanistan with the boy. very sad.

Overlord, so far is the best of them, i think. i played that and LotSB so far... Broker was alright... not great but alright. stupid tables *curses* and I'll do Arrival when I finish the game this time.
I figured i wanted to do them now, since I probbaly won't play through again for a bit. And the next one will probably be with an unpaired in ME1 Shepard.

Speaking of that, I have a question. Any idea what happens if you romance Kaidan and then he dies on Virmire? does it still count as cheating? does his picture still show up?

I'm still stuck midway through DA:O. It just doesn't capture me... I like Alistair fine and all, but the story and world don't get me in the same way. I do have a thing for guys who prefer to follow than to lead, but I think that's because I prefer to lead. Actually... no... my perfect setup is a first in command/second in command setup, where who takes charge varies depending on the situation. But when do you ever find that?

Ugh... DA:O, Bioshock, ME1 again (Renegade Sentinel), or Arcanum: of Steamworks and Magic Obscura? I don't know what to play. Also, my WoW people are asking me if I am dead or not. I don't know what to tell them. Yes, I died and went to Mass Effect?

Overlord has some of my favorite environments in Mass Effect, at least when I don't have to do combat or "platforming' in the Hammerhead. And yes, the ending scene is incredibly moving, and I can't imagine how anyone could make the Renegade decision. It remains to be seen whether I'll be able to make it even on my Sociopath! Shepard. The final sequence is one of the most graphically beautiful and emotional things in Mass Effect.

tell them yes. and its better than WoW.  (i'm rediculously biased... sorry.) 

I liked DA:O a lot...   i played through it 4 times already.    I loved Alistair, but i can see what you mean by the story... it isn't quite as gripping as the ME stories.   And the playstyle can get very tedious. Very. Specially after playing DA2. I love the characters though, and a lot of the little bits of story are cool. the "loyalty" missions that you do for some of them. but...  i get your point. 
Overlord really is amazing. i'm so glad I played it....     gorgeous and emotional... yes. I dont think I'll ever be able to have a Shepard that could make the Renegade choice. Even when I do my Renegade playthrough there are definitly some choices that will stay paragon. Cause really... I just can't be that cruel. 
And as for other games. i honestly haven't played Bioshock, but its on my list.  After I finish Portal 2...   
And Swarm
And Space Marine
And Prey
And so freaking many others.
