Thane is stubborn, very stubborn. I finally got him on the right by getting Shepard killed twice and reloading once. It can be hard to get Shepard killed on Casual sometimes.

Jack/Thane combination:

Jack on the left, Thane on the right.
Jack used the omni-tool. Thane spoke out against keeping the base and handed Shepard the explosives.
Shepard caught Thane for the first time in my playthroughs, but Jack still caught Shepard.

...And I've probably given the base to TIM seven times now.

This is more than you asked for, but I figured if I'm taking notes, I'm taking notes.
*snip notes*

I've actually got a lot more notes than I've listed, partly because they're indecipherable now and mostly because I was inconsistent about it. One thing you didn't mention was whose icon was on the left or right of the screen. I'm assuming from the results you posted that the order goes Kasumi/Garrus. I'd also expect Kasumi to pull Shepard into the Normandy, but this is a part of testing that I haven't actually analyzed completely yet.

I did say that Garrus was on the right.

Yeah, I just have to up the difficulty to Insanity for a moment and stand there. "KILL ME! KILLLLLL ME!"

I'll do that next time, except I'll actually try and see how many minutes/seconds my Shepard can stay alive on Insanity. It won't be long.

Did you add my Tali/Jack playthrough to the list? I don't see it there.

Ah, I missed that one. Got that on the list now.

Shepard survives surprisingly well on Insanity when going up against the Human Reaper. This is because the Human Reaper's attack also tends to kill all the Collectors at the same time. Baby Human Reaper not smart.

Harbinger isn't very smart either. He/It keeps flying in front of the Human Reaper when I'm shooting it with the Particle Beam.

I think I'll try some combinations to figure out the order squadmates will speak out against keeping the base, either today or tomorrow. Thane seems to be the first one to speak up so far.

Tali/Jack - Tali speaks up about the base, not Jack.

I should probably do a spreadsheet or something official like that. If anyone saw my notes, they'd wonder how I manage to keep track of any information at all. Which is funny, I always received positive comments about my lab notes in school.

I am never formatting anything on this website ever again unless I'm using the actual BBCode to do it. Whatever quick method BSN wants to offer me, thinking it will save me time on changing colors or font, is a big fat lie. Anyway, updated the original post.

I wonder if we should also include which squadmate makes a comment on the Oculus after it dies.

This is also randomized by the left-right icon position.

As for the quadmate reporting the situation at the Hold the Line (before Shepard tells them to withdraw), there seems to be a specific order.

Legion+Samara+Miranda = Legion
Garrus+Samara+Miranda = Garrus
Zaeed+Samara+Miranda = Samara

Also:

72) Legion/Zaeed

I think I have the squadmates reporting on the Hold the Line situation in the correct order up until the last two slots (Miranda and Zaeed), plus wherever Morinth would go (as she apparently doesn't always go in the same slot as Samara). Added Legion/Zaeed!

Think I also have the order in which the squadmates supporting keeping the base will speak up except for Mordin. But looks like Zaeed will speak up first.

...sweet Jesus. Congratulations Pacifien, you have successfully appealed to my OCD, meaning that I'm probably going to obsess over completing this list for as long as it takes.

Please, somebody stop me!

Right, let's start with Garrus first:

1) Garrus/Grunt

2) Garrus/Jack

3) Garrus/Jacob

5) Garrus/Legion

6) Garrus/Miranda
(Note: Miranda's presence seems to override the 'squadmate on the left uses omnitool to speak with T.I.M' trend. Although she was on the right, she still used the omnitool.)

7) Garrus/Mordin

8) Garrus/Morinth
(Note: Morinth shares the same dialogue as Samara when you are talking about whether to keep the base or not; she argues to destroy it.)

9) Garrus/Samara

10) Garrus/Tali

11) Garrus/Thane

(Unfortunately, due to a lack of Xbox Live, I am unable to take results involving Kasumi or Zaeed, hence numbers 4 and 12 being absent from this list.)

Remember, people; this is all in the name of science.B)

Okay, the original post has been updated with ResidentNoob's results and a couple new ones of mine.

Also, felt there was enough data to come up with an order to which squadmates are likely to speak up first when advocating to keep the base. Working on the order for those who disagree with keeping the base where one of my own results has become the odd man out. :pinched:

Almost have the data to determine who is going to pull Shepard onto the Normandy first.

Also, since I discovered all the buttons on the standard form do nothing but screw everything up, have been entering in everything via BBCode where I learned just why I failed so hard at computer science. Hours and hours of pouring through the code to find where I misplaced the comma.

I see the list was organized, numbered, and color-coded when I wasn't looking. Awesome.

Here are the results or my latest suicide mission playthrough. I'm bringing two squadmates who disagree with keeping the base to see who speaks up first (and two humans this time because I've only heard TIM's alien-related comment). For now, I've given up on making Thane catch Shepard unless the second squadmate dies... I'll probably try again eventually though.

39: Jacob/Jack
Jacob used the omni-tool and spoke against keeping the base. Jack handed Shepard the explosives.
Shepard caught Jack. Jacob caught Shepard.

Also, I tried out Insanity right after the squad selection screen for the final battle and did a lot better than I thought I would against those Collectors on their floating platforms. I lasted seven whole minutes!

111) Samara/Jacob
Samara used the omni-tool and spoke against keeping the base. Jacob handed Shepard the explosives.
Shepard caught Jacob. (Glowing Jacob. I guess he was still using Barrier.) Samara caught Shepard.

So far, the order seems to go like this - Samara > Jacob > Jack, and Thane is ahead of (almost?) everyone.

More updates. Now have an order in which the squadmates who disagree with keeping the base will speak up as well as a relatively complete order on who will pull Shepard onto the the Normandy.

Information I'd much appreciate if someone wants to test it:
1) Morinth! She might just switch places with Samara, but the Seeker Swarm test showed she actually had a different place than Samara on that particular list, so it's not a given for the final battle.
2) The final two places on who gives an update on how the defense is going: Miranda and Zaeed

Nice work. :) I can't help out with those last two things though. I don't have Zaeed or Morinth, and too many squadmates are alive for Miranda to give a status report. (I only get status reports from Thane, Jack, and Garrus.)
