i can run ME1 just fine, but when it comes to running ME2, my fps just plummits to the core. all of my drivers are updated, vista has all the updates, graphic settings on low, and ive compared the reccomended system requirements to my pc specs, and just 1 question. "ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT,
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT, or better recommended" are the graphic card recommendations, but my geforce card is an 8600 gt, and instead of 2.6 ghz processor, i have a 2.4. does it really make THAT much of a significant difference? i mean i could understand slightly lower than normal fps, but not around 5-8...

ME2 requires a Core Duo, while ME1 would run on a mere P4, which has half the performance of a modern CPU. It should also be noted that the Geforce 8n00 cards seem to struggle in the Bioware games far more than they should, particularly the two 8600s.
