I'd like to suggest the addition of a third 'Groups' tab under the 'Recent Activity' heading on the homepage, showing updates from your subscribed groups only.  At present, there is no real way of keeping members updated on what is going on in their respective groups (members have to repeatedly check their groups one at a time).  This results in a lack of activity in many groups that are not "off-topic" in nature.  Another suggestion would be to add a pull-down menu filtering activity
according to the chosen group.  Adding such features can promote group activity and perhaps take a load off of the forums.

'Group Subscriptions'? Thanks for bringing that to my attention. Despite that feature providing a basic solution to my suggestion, I still think a full-blown activity listing would be beneficial. I can't speak for everyone, but I'd wager most users are not looking at that side of the page for personalized content. The other fields located there are not user-centric so I imagine many people simply don't look there for group updates. I think having a 'Groups' tab would be a lot more efficient than an 'Everyone' tab, at the very least.
