has anyone here tried an ATI eyefinity card, now thats amazing, it works very well, and creates a 3d illusion that no 3d set of glasses can create, you can have 3 monitors even though windows is only capable with 2, and ati cards can work tandem, get 3 ati eyefinity cards and you can run12 monitors at once, 2 youe can run 6, 4 you can run 18 monitors, cont-em 18 MONITORS, there are even people who have 24+monitors setup, and mind you this is all still under 3.2 ghz dual core and only 5 gb ram. what i wish is that i could run nvidea 3d vision and ati eyefinity, now that would be cool.

my setup,
ati 5770 dual link eyefinity 3 1gb
3 23" monitors
3.4ghz quad core processor amd athlon
10 gb DDR3 ram
1200 watt power supply
wireless
7 speaker surround sound
Direct x 11
1.75 tb hard disk space 7200 rpm & 10,000 rpm
logitech g15 game keybord
cyborg rat 7 gaming mouse
windows 7 home premium
Now thats an awesome setup especially for dragon age, unfortunately, DA still crashes on me consistently.

I don't think I like to play games in 3D simply due to the negative effects it has on your eyes after a while.

Eyfinity is no 3d, simply 3+ monitors, great illusion though, and has no negetive effects on your eyes so far, if you really want somthing good id go with eyefinity, its just more monitors that create a panoramic view, and it doesn't use as much power as you'd think, 1/2 to 1 ratio, for every monitor the next one on eyefinity is only half the expected power

The best 3D monitor on the market today is the Zalman ZM-M240W 24" 3D Monitor. It doesn't suffer from ghosting problems as is prevalent with other 3D Ready TVs. It has 2 screens which transmit at 60Mhz each. This is 120Mhz at 60Mhz per eye. Different colours of the 3D spectrum pass through each eye. Passive lightweight 3D glasses are used which can be clipped on to spectacles if you wear them. You can also watch HDTV.
It's now less than £400 and will greatly enhance your gaming experience. 3D TVs are as yet still in their infancy and suffer a great deal from ghosting. Zalman have all but eliminated this problem. Ghosted gameplaying can be very annoying with certain games. I'd give it another 3 years or so before investing in a 3D Ready TV, in order that the technology can catch up and eliminate ghosting problems. Considering the cost of the heavy NVidia 3D glasses - which can cause eyestrain - the Zalman is a veritable bargain. The Zalman glasses do not produce eyestrain and are very lightweight. The product has rave reviews on a Google search. You can purchase it from http://www.quietpc.c...products/gaming for £400.
