I just found yet another glitch but this time on the mother or the party. (Either way it works out to your advantage)
As I was fighting the children the others were getting slaughtered by the mother (they all died duh...) suddenly she was still ataking them and not me so I used a bow and killed her (She onli hit me twice with a electric attack) but the plans work great.
For everyone having trouble on the mother get the heartwood bow and vigilance but battle the 2nd time (then the glitch is capable)  have fun glitching...

But... u might need high dexerity over 80 or sumthin but hey still works. >
