I have got an normal retail version of Dragon Age, now want to buy awakaning on steam, is this possible? or will the two games be non-compaitble with each other?

There should be no problems downloading Awakenings...Awakenings is an Add-On to Dragon Age Origins, utilizing the main code of it so you must have Origins in order for Awakenings to be available. Yoyu can use your character from the Origins game, the saved games don't work with it tho
