I recently bought Mass Effect 2 off of Steam when EA had their week of sales.I bought the standard version of the game. Upon installing and launching the game Steam had told me that the game required additional keys for DLC that was purchased with my game this was a pleasant surprise as I was not aware that it came with DLC. So I hit the keys it said would bring up the extra keys and entered them when prompted. I did not have a Bioware account at the time so I created one just as I was instructed to do. I have since beaten the game on the normal difficulty setting and the Cerberus network computer comes up on the main menu however my DLC does not seem to be active in the game. Is there any way I can fix this for my second play through?
Steam Cerberus Network Problem.

Did you download and install the DLC (at least the free stuff)? If you did, you should have gotten messages in your in-game inbox that's related to the DLC you have installed (Firewalker Pack, Zaeed, Cerberus Assault Armor + Eviscerator Shotgun, etc.). Check your Mass Effect 2\\BioGame\\DLC directory to see if any DLC is installed in there.

I didn't download it, I couldn't figure out how. Plus Steam says that all DLC associated with my account was downloaded with the game. I could try to download it though if you would be kind enough to point me in the right direction!

You'll want to go to Profile > Register Games (from the menu on the left side under your profile pic) to register your copy of ME2 (with the keys you obtained from Steam) so you'll have access to download the free stuff. Once you do that, go to Profile > Your Registered Game Promotions and download the stuff from there.

It is a bit silly that Steam doesn't provide any documentation about actually getting the DLC you have access to. I can see how people could miss out on the free DLC entirely.

Missed out on this as well. Is it too late to add once you've played through? Do you have to download it all from Bioware and not through steam? What a botched way to add DLC for Steam purchases.

I've never wanted any DLC material for any game from any publisher; if I could understand you, I probably couldn't help much, but you will need to use standard business style punctuation, capitalization, and diction because your problem simply isn't clear enough, I don't think, from what you wrote above. Specifically, you used the word "it" six times, counting two instances of "it's" that you left the apostrophe out of. The selfsame "it" may apply, but should be actually named wherever it is potentially more than a single definition.

1) *Edited by Moderator: leave off on correcting people's typing, spelling, grammer, sentence structure, etc, as they are not appropriate for these forums*
2) Read the Tech FAQ, section 2 deals with DLC, and various problems like this.

If English is not your birth language, or there are other reasons for not using the standard sentence structure and composition functions of English, get someone else to write a next comment to the thread for you, should it be needed. Personally, I still remain unable to interpret the comment from yesterday.

I have done all of the above and still can't DL my cerberus stuff.

Does it say you've already used the Cerberus code? I just ask because that's what happened to me and five minutes with EA live chat support sorted it all out and let me download it. If your problem's something else then I don't know, but EA support might still be the answer.
