I'm downloading DLC at 20kbs and can't guarantee that my PC will be able to remain online for so long. Aren't there mirrors or something I can try downloading from?

Thanks, but unfortunately it's ME 2 I'm busy waiting on.
As an update, I'd like to add that the download seems to cancel after a few hours, meaning even if I left my PC on for several days I wouldn't get the Overlord DLC.
Any help would be thoroughly appreciated.

There are no official mirrors for the DLC files. We are using a content distribution network to deliver the files to maximize download speed. You could try using a download manager as it will allow you to continue downloading where you left off if there were any interruptions.

I'd rather avoid using a download manager since I can't seem to find one which doesn't have some form of adware, etc. Still, thanks for the response Jeff.
Oddly enough, it seems to be working slightly faster now (Should be done within a couple of hours if it carries on at the current pace). I have my fingers crossed.

You could also use a browser that supports resuming downloads. I don't know about Firefox, but sometimes it looks as if... (using Firefox at work). It already has some kind of intern DL manager.

I've actually contemplated acquiring firefox again. I used to love that browser.
Also, I'm not sure but I think IE 8 might have a kind of internal download manager too. I can't explain it but every time a download crashed, another attempt of the download would always have it starting off from the point it crashed. For some reason it didn't do that for the Overlord DLC however.
Anyway, it's finished downloading. Thanks again everyone.

Are you still using modem
? I get the shivers when I think of that connection tone again
.

No, no, no, never again. I thankfully have a four megabyte line now. I do miss the dial-up tone however, especially when it went crazy and you knew something was wrong.
Anyway, not to be rude, but I think we should probably let this topic die out now.
