Recently bought the game through steam, along with mass effect 1, which ended up succumbing to the GPF error, and now im having problems with the sequel. After finishing Freedom's Progress near the very beginning of the game, when you talk to Illusive Man, soon after you turn around and BAM theres joker. Well right before Shepard does so, a little green symbol popped up on my screen saying loading, and thats where the game freezes. This computer has more than adequate specs for the game, as it has played well so far, and i have to admit it looks absolutely great. If anyone has the answer to my problem that would be very helpful, all i want to do is enjoy these wonderful games, but so far it seems as if that isnt going to happen.

Reinstall the game or do the usual Steam fixes like 'verify integrity of game cache'.
