And now I can't access my saved games because a message says original owner of premium content must log in. I'm logged in with Luralene. I tried to email support, but they say Luralene doesn't have an account. Oh woe is me! Posted Image

I reinstalled because I was having problems logging in, and this has been fixed, but after I had reinstalled.

Has your DLC redownloaded since you reinstalled? If you are under the correct account then it would have redownloaded. Is it at least listed in the installed tab?

BTW: This thread has a detailed list of the things you can try:  ( symptoms along with associated possible fixes  all neatly arranged )

At login, the downloaded content shows it was downloaded. I will try to explain. I have administrator and user on my computer. I play my games from user, but have to install from admin. So, my saved games are in my user documents, but I have to access the game to play from admin now that I reinstalled. This is the disconnect I need to resolve.

Ok, I figured out what to do. I moved my DA chars and info to my admin DA under documents/Bioware. Now I can still run the game from user, but I log in under the admin name. I hope I explained that well enough. But, I still can't log in because downloadables aren't showing up.

Thanks for helping.

I will explore the thread you mentioned, to see if I can find a fix in there.

Are you having any luck? Sorry for my preemptive enjoy. I read that post wrong and thought you had solved your issue.

No, I can't log into my saved games because I can't access my downloaded content. But I can start a new game without the downloads. I need to work further on this if I can figure it out. The downloads are showing in my Bioware/Dragon Age files.

You mentioned it being installed to different directories admin and user. did you also move the associated downloads to the new folder. ( alternatively, since you seem to have admin control have you tried taking full control of the user permissions in the folder ) Also, I assume you tried some of the suggestions in the sticky post?

I copied all my user content over to admin Bioware/Dragon Age. The DLC is there too, but the game doesn't recognise it. There is probably something I can do, but I haven't found it yet. I can run the game as admin from my user side.

i had the same issue when i reinstalled the game. What i wound up havign to do is unistall the game and do a fresh install then have it download the content again. Also when i did the second install i made sure eachDLC item fully downloaded and installed before i started just incase that was a cause since i normally had them all downloading at once.

Yeah. It would at least be worth deleting all the DLC and clearing the cache, then letting the game redownload.

Do you guys know how to reinstall if I am running off of steam?

Sometimes steam puts an uninstaller under add/remove programs. Otherwise you'll have to right click and select delete local content.

And redownload the entire thing again?

Edit: and for some reason, all my other steam games are in the add/remove programs list besides this one..

That's pretty much the only way with Steam. You can try backing up the files using steam backup... but that's just backing up what's already there. What's your problem exactly?

I already have a thread, but my characters wont engage in battle, different characters, different saves, same problem. Also tried creating new character and it says "unable to load module." I have tried all the fixes posed to me so far, nothings changed. This seems to be a problem resulting from the toolset, but I have uninstalled it and still no changed. Only option left it seems is to re-install DA:O

have you checked to make sure you do not have them on hold in place?
