What do you think will happen when shepard meets liara's new friend. The way she was acting in the story about him and the way it came off in the comic books seems like shes ready to romance this new guy. You think liara is having a change of heart on shepard? Do you think shepard might have to shoot this new drell dude? Makes you wonder huh?

Hey, I'm just spitballing here. And it's not like they would be actual squadmates. It seems very obvious that there is going to be a Dragon Age-esque recruit these races for the final battle sort of set up for ME3. Why not add a few Drell into the mix. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to see what Kahje looks like.

The Drell don't have any fleet. They are useless and irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

That pretty much marginalizes the Krogans as well.
And I'm pretty sure Shepard's role in the final battle is going to be more than standing on the command deck and yelling at Joker to use the Normandy's pew pew lazors against all 10,000-ish of them. I'd be surprised if a massive ground battle doesn't take place at some point in time.

No. Because Krogan have a high birth rate (if the genophage is cured), and the way they are build makes them awesome expendable shock troopers. The Drell are quite useless in any aspect.

You could say its one of the only reason. Why this might be happening. Seeing shepards face as the Drell walks up and says. Oh, by the way. How was embracing eternity. I thought it was pretty good.

All that I got out of the graphic novel was that she was trying to keep his help, and so she offered herself in a way.
Honestly, I would like to see a DLC with this situation, and have that tailor itself depending on what your character is all about.

I want to say I'm one of those people, but considering my male Shepard romanced Ashley, I don't even want to think about it. Also, I remember this one guy who said he went all the way back to ME1 and played through it again just so he could romance Liara. Why? Because "it seems to go well with the comic."

The romance isn't meant to be canon, though. The comic itself, never led me to believe this, and I romance Liara all the time. I do take a bit more meaning out of it b/c I did romance her and that's how I want to interpret it, but if you did not romance her, or have no desire to ever do so, I think it's possible to interpret her actions as coming from just a dedicated friend or fellow crew member. Her motivations stem from camaraderie and friendship in this case, and not romantic love.
The comic is so vague about this, both interpretations are viable, so it's up to the player to read it how they want to.
