It's just like comic book movies all over again, isn't it? Name a good superhero movie before X-Men...go on, I'll wait. If you'd asked me ten years ago if anyone would ever make a Watchmen movie, or that Robert Rodriguez would be directing Deadpool...
*POLL* Who should play Shepard in the movie? VOTE NOW!

my bet's on Sam Worthington , though i agree that Bale is amazingly talented actor I can't see him fit, even with facial hair and contacts... but it all comes to personal preferences after all. I trust bioware to make a good choice... I may be naive though.

I just thought of something, they MIGHT (and hopefully DO) make the movie based of the short but oh so interesting first contact 'war'.

Maybe Vin Diesel

Nick Frost is not on this list? WTF op? The movie would be a thousand percent better with Nick Frost as Commander Shepard.

Get your vote on and excercise your right to freedom of choice (even if you live in a communist country!)
Out of the presented options.... Christian Bale á la Patrick Bateman for renegade Shepard .

Jason Statham. Around the right age. Pretty badass and does tons of action movies on the cheap which saves money for better special effects.
Are you kidding me? That guy sucks at acting. I don't even know why he has a job, nobody I know will watch a movie with him in it. And I know a lot of people.

Matthew Fox would be my Ideal choice. Though god knows I dislike his "whiny" voice.

Tyler Lautner of course
ok sorry but it's the kind of decision studios would make if this is going to be an A-list movie. People like Karl Urban or Rhona Mitra would put this movie strictly in B movie land. We want this movie to be a big one and given the A treatment. If we want it at all that is.
Dont care for the polls choices.
My own personal choices
FemShep: Leana Heady
Male Shep: Michael Fassbender(look him up the guy is very good)

I keep coming back to Meer, why because no matter what shep looks like, we all see him how we wish since we create his look, but the one constant is how he sounds. If some actor looks dead on like default Shep, but opens his mouth and out comes some voice other than that of Meers, IT is an epic fail. Take Meer put him in a gym and presto Insta Shep.

Is it even confirmed that the movie will be about Shepard?
I'm not against a Mass Effect movie, but I am if it is just trying to retell the events in the game.
Set it during the First Contact Wars, or make Anderson the hero, or anything that allows you to tell a story designed for a movie rather than trying to fit a video game story into a movie.

Although I prefer that no movie be made of Mass Effect some idiot would just **** the whole story up
For example the book Twilight [I never got pass book one since KS and RP ****ed my image & I assume missing storyline don't know for sure haven't care to go see it.]

I'm sad that Sean Connery wasn't on there. That's BS. Sean Connery is awesome.
