Whevever I make a link to anything on this site, even if it's a link to another post on the same page, it opens up in a new tab. Is there any way I can make it so that it opens up in the same tab or window?

I'm nearly positive. It's hardcoded. But if I am wrong you are looking at the _self target (I imagine it is ignored).
