But you're just the consort. Notice how Anora didn't have much of a claim? A relative of hers, yours, or Rowan's would have less of one. They aren't next in the line of succession unless the current monarch appoints them so. Say you and Alistair or Anora are growing older and have accepted you're just not going to have a child. If you two choose to appoint Fergus' kids as heir to the throne then it should be a simple business of the Landsmeet confirming it. If not, there is no heir and no claim but Fergus or his kids can make a bid for it invoking your name. Still, it would once again come down to politics and whether anyone stood to oppose this.Jacks Smirking Revenge wrote...
Though Cailan didn't have a brother other than Alistair(who was pushed by Eamon as viable claim) Fergus is your full 100% brother wouldn't he have an even stronger claim than what Alistair was presented with when you pushed him?

The Rebel Queen
|
King Meric ------ Queen Rowan(sp?)===Arl Eamon===Bann Teagan
| |
King Cailan===(King) Alistair Connor
There's no in game reference I've found that gives a solid tie in four the Couslands. Eamon and his family have no blood tie to the throne. Of course, neither does Anora, but since she's the 'seated' Queen, she has more clout at the Landsmeet.

I think the Couslands just represent a high ranking noble family no direct connection to the Crown just High Ranking Nobility that has estalished Military Dominance in ferelden..dominance is a bad word respect is better to describe what i'm trying to say.after all it is known the Grey Wardens in the wardens keep/soldier's peak DLC did want the couslands support in rebelling.Liliandra Nadiar wrote...
