I haven't been able to find (or make) something that quite fits that characteristic.
Thanks for any help.

Of course you could always find someone fitting that description in this thread: Tough Guys

Well I made a headmorph to look like myself and found it quite fitting for the Cousland family. I wanted him to look a bit sad, but not whiney and still resolved. I wanted his face to resemble the utter tragedy of his origin story.
I went through many versions until I was happy with the result. Maybe it fits your taste, just check it out:

As you can see, he looks a bit younger than his older brother Fergus. He shares some Cousland males' features: a stong chin, stubble-beard, medium-long hair, a relatively long nose and a high forehead / low brows. He also inherited some features from his mother: "normal" eyebrows and relatively big eyes.
A picture taken during the mod-mission "Return to Castle Cousland" (very fitting for this origin):

A picture with more resove in his eyes:

@ggRechen - Very realistic design, he has that youthful resemblance to his relatives, but also looks very much like he belongs on the battlefield.

I think the worst part is is that I seem to get one face in the toolset, another in the character creation screen, and a third in game... What may look OK in one looks horrendous in another... If only I could blend a few morphs together - that might make life a little bit easier.
It's quite a challenge to get it just right - several days and I still haven't found one I'm satisfied with TBH.

So I'm planing on starting another run through, and this time around I'm stuck on the face. My Warden is a male Cousland, so one req is that he looks like a relative of Bryce and Fergus. Now he's younger than those two, so there should still be a slight pretty-boy/babyface look to him - people do mention that the PC is young and attractive - yet at the same time be able to deliver that "look in the eye" that says "I mean business" and makes BSers crap their pants.
I haven't been able to find (or make) something that quite fits that characteristic.
Thanks for any help.
I think he is looking for help.
He's not looking for another "Look at my Cousland thread".
That being said, my suggestion would be to post a picture (side and front view) of your Cousland character. It is hard for us to aid you without a reference to go back on. If you post a picture of your character, the community can help you and aid you to make a design that fits your goals and objectives.

Anyway, another suggestion of mine is to skip the CC-step, it damages the morph from the toolset since the CC is way too restricted. Import him into the game via the .mor-save-thing instead

I didn't put Liam in this thread for that very reason, he's got his own distinct look, nothing like what the OP feels a Cousland should look like.

That would explain a few things - I swear,
from toolset to CC there's a bit of a makeover going on. I think that's
been responsible for scrapping countless morphs/saves and caused me to
start over like 10 times already (using both Bryce and Fergus as bases)... The mouth might be awkward, there might be no upper lip, the mouth might be too high, the nose might be too wide, too big, or too long... And it'll look acceptable in the toolset, which was the weirdest thing.
So how do I do the whole
"MOR-save-thing" that you mentioned?

I'm not completely happy with either one, even though they do look kinda similar...

Ok, here's what I recommend....
First off, I can see the brows are the defaults.
Get this here..to give him that more masculine, aggressive look.
http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=1321
Give him an endorsement too.
Second, change the hair to an alistair haircut or a Daveth haircut or even the Warden haircut.
Hairstyle can actually change the aggressiveness of a character.
Third, give him some stubble and a moustache.
Try that for now. Post a pic if you decide to do it.
I like the face structure on the left one ebetter.

And I agree with Petehog, stubble always goes a long way, even if it's really really light.

I like the face structure on the right, kinda reminds me of Bryce, but it makes him more masculine, pulling away from that pretty-boy look you're going for. And I dunno how it would look from different angles.

I don't mind pulling away from it (pretty boy) a little bit, as I'm trying to get a transitory phase from cute (good-looking child) to sexy (good-looking adult) all while possessing the Cousland traits (both seen and mentioned). I guess the good-looking part is toughest since I do have a few restrictions/limits (relatives), and also because I'm working on my own gender. IDK, I find building women a lot easier to do in gaming, probably because I know what to look for.
As for the stubble thing, yeah I've noticed that it can hide/transform a face. I've always thought clean-cut looked better. At least that's how most of my created males (and me IRL) look...
