I just downloaded and intstalled ME1 through Direct2Drive with out problems, I am currently running Game Version 1.00.

My Question is how will my game be effected after I patch from here:
masseffect.bioware.com/me1/pc/updates/index.html

will my game continue to function as intended(disc-less digital download)?

yes, I actually had to dl the patch, cause config wouldn't run at first. I bought from D2D and patched, and have had a grand total of 2 crashes thru 2 1/2 complete games
