Why is it so frowned upon to eat other people? If a human dies then they will be eaten by bacteria no one frowns on the bacteria, but if a human does that it is disgusting. And of course once they are dead they are dead and won't be able to care if they get eaten. And how is eating an already dead human different than eating any other animal? (other than taste) So why can't I eat people?

I don't know about you guys but where I come from we bury our dead, not eat them. An act of cannablism is a crime against nature and a crime against a higher power.

A couple problems. One the same reason you don't eat apex predators. We collect all the **** in our systems like the tuna does mercury. Eating your own kind has a way of biting you in the ass. Lest we forget Charleton Heston's struggle. Bovine Spongiform resulted from cows being fed cows. And scyphonix above reminded me of a documentary of a similar condiiton to Mad Cow when the culture was steeped in cannibalism.
Though I would like to try it just once. You don't mind if I take a bite from you randumb right?

Actually, I once caddied for the Dalai Lama and when we finished the eighteenth hole, he was gonna stiff me.So I say "Hey Lama, how about something, you know, for the effort, you know.And he says "Well, there wont be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed you will receive total consciousness".So at least I got that going for me, which is nice.
