There were documentations of excursions a really long time ago through the north pole region where the expedition ended in acts of cannabalism. The movie Alive also documented acts of cannabalism when a plane crashed in South America and the survivors ate the dead in order to live.
The post apocolyptic film The Book of Eli had some canabil undertones. However, even in a horribly destroyed world the last remenants of society still shunned the people eaters. They portrayed the people who ate other people to have shakes.

If cannibals eat clowns do they taste funny?
A couple problems. One the same reason you don't eat apex predators. We collect all the **** in our systems like the tuna does mercury. Eating your own kind has a way of biting you in the ass. Lest we forget Charleton Heston's struggle. Bovine Spongiform resulted from cows being fed cows. And scyphonix above reminded me of a documentary of a similar condiiton to Mad Cow when the culture was steeped in cannibalism.
Though I would like to try it just once. You don't mind if I take a bite from you randumb right?

so you would rather be concious in a box with no way of escape? at least poop moves around sometimes for change of scenery.crumbsucker wrote...

actually the bacteria would break down the poo and then you will be fertilizer just like if you were buriedcrumbsucker wrote...
I wouldn't want to be eaten.I'd hate my final form to be a pile of feces!
But at one point you still were poo for awhile
Actually, I once caddied for the Dalai Lama and when we finished the eighteenth hole, he was gonna stiff me.So I say "Hey Lama, how about something, you know, for the effort, you know. And he says "Well, there wont be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed you will receive total consciousness".So at least I got that going for me, which is nice.
Unless I'm poo!

Mayhaps we should start a pedigree vegan ranch? We'll treat them like the Kobe cows and then when they are ripe for the picking make them watch the footage of Bush being re-elected. While they are fainted on the ground we take the chainsaws to them.YokoFactor wrote...

I don't really want to get into this debate, but you're wrong on this point.JHorwath wrote...
I don't know about you guys but where I come from we bury our dead, not eat them. An act of cannablism is a crime against nature and a crime against a higher power.
Cannibalism of one's own species isn't uncommon in the natural world. Sure, not every creature does it and often it's usually only an animal eating its young for whatever reason, but to call it a "crime against nature" is a complete fallacy.

I disagree. Humans are not animals. We have the capacity to think and act beyond instincts. So, you are kind of wrong.

Believe it or not, there are good people in this world. You can believe what you want but I just can't give up on humanity that easily.
