The only limitation to wearing armor is the amount of Strength you have. For an Arcane Warrior, instead of Strength, you use Magic. So all you have to do is look on the piece of armor to see the Strength requirement and match that with Magic, which is 38 for Juggernaut.
The heavier and heavier armor you use, the more and more fatigue you will have, making spellcasting more difficult (as your spells will take much more mana to cast). This is why the most common Arcane Warrior build is coupled with Blood Mage: you use your mana to upkeep sustainable spells, wear Massive Armor, and cast spells with your HP via Blood Magic.

Hmm got back from the Wiki. Only thing is.... don't you have to kill Connor to become a blood mage? It sounds tempting to try it....but I have this weird mental block with playing evil characters...
and I don't know if I can kill a kid.....>.>
Oh and good spells? Ones I know off hand that I know are
Cone of Cold, Flaming Weapons, Glpyh of Repulsion...Arcane Shield....Combat Magic....
I was thinking of getting blizzard, inferno.... getting misdirection hex..... and walking bomb?

If you are playing on the PC, the Respec mod can open all specs for you. Like yourself, I dislike Evil as a rule, so I opened the spec with Awakenings by reading a book.
Fireball and Cone of Cold are my main guns. Heal is terrific, as are Mental Blast and Force Shield. I like the entire Glyph line, and make frequent use of the spell combos.
The large AOE spells can be nice if you can stop your party from getting caught in them.

I don't believe the Respec mod can open up Blood Mage, only the Specs that have manuals available.
You don't kill Connor, you make a deal with the demon to remain dormant inside of him or something in exchange for teaching you some power (make sure to check the right dialog, you have a few options).
The best way to do it is to save right before and make the choice to be a blood mage. That will unlock it. Then you can re-load the save and choose the root that you want (kill the demon, get the extra tome, etc).

If you have enough Coersion, you can Intimidate the demon to leave AND gain the reward. too.

Get Spell Might, Blizzard and Tempest for Storm of the Century, then go kick some butt.

I ended up getting Blood Mage (and Reaver) in Awakenings. The manuals for all specializations are for sell. Either at the Keep or Amaranthne. And once unlocked, even if in Awakenings, it's unlocked for your whole profile.
It's a good way to get around the evil requirement for the two. Though in strict in-game lore, being a Blood Mage pretty well already makes you evil. *shrug* But the game interactions don't check off your specializations.

If you are on the PC there is a mod that unlocks all specializations. The respec mod does not unlock them all. Just do a search on "Specilization" on the Dragon Age Nexus. I used that mod to get both Bloodmage and Reaver

I like Spirit Healer. Makes your whole party pretty much unkillable once you get cleansing aura. In AW/SH Character with a melee heavy party would be a fairly easy playthrough. Group Heal rocks, Cleansing Aura rocks, even Revival can be useful if you get sloppy in a hard battle. The weakest spell is Lifeward. Though I imagine you could cast the spell out side of combat and wait 10 seconds for your Mana to recahrge before starting combat.

Cleansing Aura has a -10 Mana/Stam regen penalty, so you have to choose it or Shimmering Shield. If you're not running solo or if your AW isn't meant to be a tank, then this could be a viable alternative.
I've never played one, but I would imagine AW/SH to be more of a support role, utilizing perhaps only Cleansing Aura as a sustainable, not running any AW talents (as they alone add 50% Fatigue), and casting heals and CC with the mana pool that AW/BM wouldn't have.

Good to know; thaks for the tip.

If one wishes to be; Yes. But an AW/SH can be a devestating caster force, a melee monster, etc; many ways to play this combo, as it is the one I choose frequently.

That would make sense. But she's never offered it to me. I've a guide that says she should but... *shrug*
You can buy it off either Levi after you retake Soldier's Peak (if you have that DLC) or from the Wonders of Theadas in Denerim.
