Does the Bioware/Visceral store get insurance money from UPS?
The only reason I ask is because I received some lithos that are damaged, but not that damaged (ie. a bent corner and some roughage along the border). I would hate to be a thorn in the side of either of the companies, and I can live with a little damage, but if they get reimbursed by the shipping company, I would most definitely try and get my money back because it was the shipping company's fault.
Who bites the bullet if lithos are damaged during shipment?

I got nothing. Not even reimbursed shipping for my Jack with a huge bend and a small tear in it. I'm sure others have had better experiences though. I guess they were very unwilling to do anything at all since it was in the last batch sold.

UPS always is insured, as far as I know. XPO should be uninsured as well as standard USPS (First-class Mail without extra service). If insured/registered, you should first claim damages at the courier, then at the seller. At least, that is the procedure in my country. Courier often asks for a shipping number that is provided by the shop. Or the shop does everything. Shops also usually tell the customer what to do in case of shipping damage.
So, you, KingofallCosmos, could try writing a PM to Mr. Seigle/BWS Jedi and talk to him about the damage and what to do next. I know too few things about claiming refund for shipping damages in other countries. And fortunately (*knocks on wood three times*) a damage when using oversea postal services has never happened to me. (The customs smashed a box once, but it was five times larger than its content so nothing happened.)

Here is the deal on damaged Lithographs. If your Lithograph arrives damaged please create a case in the system and include pictures as it expedites the process. If the damage is due to shipper error please include pictures of the packaging.
If the damage is caused by bad packaging we adsorb the cost if the damage is caused by the shipper to try to file a claim which is a royal pain.
Bottom line Lithographs should arrive in mint condition. If they don't we will replace them. If this has not been you experience with the store please let me know.
Thanks

Just my 2 cents. I had a litho and 2 posters damaged in a recent order.
Created a case, sent pics, and was it resolved most excellently.
Replacements were sent and arrived in great condition. My problem is definitely with the shipper. They should never have even put that on my doorstop in the condition it was it. Kudos to the store folks. Very good customer service.
