They're already about thirteen years past Lothering so the time to mesh with the DA2 story is long since past. I'm actually wrapping the story up now, this is the beginning of the final plot cycle. I wanted it to be done before DA2 came out, but since my new job has been giving me overtime like woah I don't see that happening.

Sucks to hear. Though overtime does mean more money I hope. Should unless it's a flat pay contract and I'm pretty sure only government service employees have those little ticks.

Maggie and Anders were an inspiration towards my magic ideas in the story I'm trying to develop, btw.

Nah, I'm hourly, not salary.  Plenty of people at my company are salaried, though.  I'd need two more promotions before I had to worry about that, though.
And not to sound like a raging capitalist or anything, but more money is very, very good.  I got rid of my car two years ago when I was laid off (ironically, by the same company I work for again...).  Not a big deal then since school was three subway stops from home.  I could do without the hour long combined train and bus commute to the office that's only a 20 min drive away, though.  So, the faster I get a car the better.

Thank you!  I've had such fun playing with the magic lore.  Actually, that's kind of why I wanted to end the story now.  Well, besides that I figured the current plot would be a good place to complete things since it kind of pulls all the hanging threads together.  It seems like DA2 is going to go much deeper into the whole mage/chantry thing, and magic lore in general, and I'm itching to get my hands on the game and start something based off that.

Yeah, yeah... I was sucked in by DA2. No shock there. In fact, I've already started my DA2 fic, Leap. (also on DeviantArt and on AO3. I'm also posting new chapters to People of Thedas
I couldn't resist. It was all... Anders, and mage politics, and dysfunction junction companions. That's my favorite stuff to write about!

Yeah, I played DA2 and did nothing else for ages, and then I wrote a bit of DA2 fic, and then I went back to AOA-land.
And now I may fire up DA2 for a bit more...
