Human Noble and Mage (if you took the working for Irving path) have the greatest chance of surviving without Duncan. Dwarf Noble may or may not, as the Deep Roads are survivable and he/she could make it to the Legion. The other three though? Dead/Imprisioned without Duncan's intervention.

I'd like to think the working-for-irving path would guarantee survival, but it seems like Greagoir really didn't care when you get caught. I wonder what would happen...
And... double update today!

Finally at Ostagar. Really giggling at the dozens of Anders references I keep finding.

First, you have an excellent grasp of characterization. Maggie is a fun character. She is flawed which is always nice to read in fanfic. I loved your take on Anders and was glad to see you toned Oghren down a bit from Awakening without losing his kamikaze level of alcoholism.
I know you think it's filler, but the hen party chapter was my favourite. It established and advanced characterization for several of the newer characters.
I'm tired and I'm blaming you. Just so you know.

Bad Alistair, bad, bad timing. 'Oh yes, take a good look around here. 'Cause it's going to be your grave in a couple decades in a best case scenario'.

That actually is where I triggered the conversation on my first playthrough. All I could think was "if this was real I'd be super disturbed," so I had to work that in.Liliandra Nadiar wrote...
Liked how you worked conversations from the game in as a normal conversation and not as the whining/interrogating the game makes it out to be. And yay Leliana. (My favorite DA character. Only two PTs didn't have her as my romance.)

And thank you re: conversations. I tried to do the same thing in my first maggie story, and it seemed to work out. Some of the disussions seem too important to setting up the character of various people to just skip (like Leliana's growing up in Orlais), but the bizarre q & a format is just... odd. Works in game, but doesn't read as a normal conversation when you actually look at it.

I've started reading your first
Maggie story! I love it so far! And I love Maggie, she reminds me of my
own Rhia but more cheerfulI'm glad that she and Alistair made peace
with each other and are friends again
Thank you! I actually set out to try and create a character who would be honestly happy as a Grey Warden, since a lot of the stories have wardens who seem reluctant or unhappy, or just quit. I figured someone who thinks it's just the very best thing ever would be interesting. (and I wanted something with minimal angst since I just can't write decent angst to save my life.)
It seems like if Alistair knew about the "someone will die" thing he would have been all for recruiting Loghain, so once he did know I figured making peace wouldn't be difficult.
