Didn't see this thread so posted one of my own. Since it was closed, I'll transfer my original post here:

I picked through the Shadowrun RPG book and it is a setting just ripe for an incredible RPG by the likes of Bioware.

There was a SNES Shadowrun RPG that was considered quite good but imagine what Bioware could do with a setting that mixes the cyber punk of Neuromance and Blader runner with elves, orcs, dwarves, and magic! Mass Effect gives them a tempate already although they'd have to introduce a better hacking mechanic and somehow balance the shooting mechanics of ME with viable melee attacks. That said, imagine such a RPG amde by Bioware.

Oh, forgot, also they should make a steampunk game, with like victorian gentlemen on space trains flying through the ether or somesuch. Awesomeness guaranteed.

"I say, old chap! You appear to have collided with my derrigible!"
"Oh, blast! It appears I have. Sorry about that, old sport, bit of a problem with the navigation!"
"How unfortunate! Well, must be off to get home for tea time. Tally ho!"

Yeah... I would love that

Aye!  Space: 1899!  Great White Hunters on the plains of Mars, Jules Vern style submarines, it just has a lot of potential, and playing victorian gentlemen would be just so different from the usual. :D

oh yeah, that would definetely be most fortunate: be the last space cowboy, find a way to travel around the galaxy in 80 lightdays, have a journey to the centre of the galaxy, join the (british) galactic empire (darth vader not necessarily included) or the french alien legion and conquer planets so the others can't have it, (cause that's how you rule victorian style, biatches! xD)

but seriously, that's got a lot of potential! Add some steampunk, perhaps some magic and maybe even pirates and leave the rest to Bioware.

Doesn't matter as long as they keep making games like DAO, Mass Effect and KOTOR type games. I have become very welcoming to any Bio-ware game. They have been all epic!

A superhero game.
Fallout 4

Horrible idea.

If anything, they should go for a Star Trek RPG. The series needs more rebooting and they could add on to the universe.  Also, a game that takes place in real life but at a different time period. May you could change the events of history? Perhaps during the 1600s, 1700s 0r 1800s. It's got to have a catch to it though or else I won't be interested. Also, I agree with a horror RPG. Those aren't seen much now and days. Also, a Wheel of Time game. Obsidian could bring out there's while BioWare could work on there own game based on the books(I just think there should be more support for the series).

Though if anything, why not a more high fantasy RPG? They've tried putting realism in games like Dragon Age: Origins but that doesn't mean it can't apply even to the high fantasy genre.

Oh yeah, and no Metroid game. Metroid is either side-scrolling or FPS; not RPG.
