What's great about Canada, eh?

Mont Tremblant has good skiing.Canada is mostly populated only on a two hundred mile strip that stretches along the US border. So if you like wilderness activities, there's a great deal of wilderness to be active in. Watch out for the black flies.
Poutine is basically the most sinful food ever created. But it can be 'to die for' good. I mean that quite literally. Everyone ought to try pizzaghetti at least once. Montreal style bagels are far far better than New York style bagels. Quebec cuisine is best described as cajun food without the heat crossed with the Irish love of potatoes, Jewish smoked meats all covered with maple syrup. It's better than it sounds.
Outside of Toronto the basic trait of Canadians is decency. Your average Canadian is pretty fair minded. The best thing I can say aboot Toronto is that I know lot of very nice people who are from there, eh.

Banff is just flat out gorgeous. Vancouver generally plays either Seattle's or San Francisco's stunt double on TV these days.

HAHA Its a lot more then just those two cities.
Like if you wonder where the watchmen was filmed, a lot of the outdoor stuff was filmed about 5 minutes from my house. Been kicked off A LOT of movie sets.
Vancouver is nicknamed "Hollywood north"
Also Toronto is full of jerks and ****s. We are not much better out here but still better.

Socialized medicine. Though I'm sure it has its faults, this tumor is getting itchy. And the only thing I can afford are those do it yourself kits and they are all kind of sketchy.
It's great when it is something simple, like a flue.
But it blows chunks when you have to get surgery. TAKES MONTHS TO GET A DATE, THEN YOU GOT TO WAIT MONTHS MORE.

Toronto and what is good about Canada should never be in the same sentence...
Especially when talking about hockey!
So very true.
Even people from Toronto, hate Toronto.

Vancouver has one of the worst natural disasters zones in north america -after the oil spill-. The downtown east side.
Just look it up on youtube and you'll see.

Most people in canada learn it but don't speak it.
Only a small percent speak it "full time" in canada.

To give an even more accurate answer, New Brunswick is the only province in Canada to actually be bilingual, Ontario also claims to be bilingual but from experience, I can assure you only a few communities and individuals speak French, so it's very undeserving of that title as there's also many communities in the prairies and other provinces of Canada that speak French. Quebec is the only province where French is dominant and where it's considered it's main language, the only area in Quebec where English is dominant of French is in Montreal.mousestalker wrote...
The accurate answer is that most people in Quebec speak French. Almost everyone else speaks English. The only people that are consistently bilingual are in Ottawa and no one ever goes to Ottawa if they can help it.
Edit: Addendum: No one is really sure what they speak in Newfoundland.

What I hate about Canada: Toronto, stereotypes about how all of us like beer, hockey, and say eh. Man, that agravates me. I also hate Canadian content on tv (wait, so we don't get to watch new episodes of Futurama so we can watch another repeat of the Just for Laughs!?) and HST. Happy Canada Day, you get to pay higher taxes starting today.
All in all, Canada is just like any other country. It has pros and cons.

Lol (Just kidding, I live in Maine, 3/4 of our population are decedents of Canadian Immigrants. But there also is a joke up here Maine: You can spit on Canada from here. Again, just joking around. I have a couple Canadian friends, seems to be like the US but with the metric system and more gays.)
And all of Canada's faults are made up by this one sentence, 'Bioware and Ubisoft Montreal are two of the greatest video game companies in the world.'
(But I still hate the metric system with an undying passion... just so you know.)
