Ok, I keep hearing about these three swords, but I didn't find any of them. Could anyone please tell me how and where to find them?

Starfang = Superman Reference encounter while travelling, get the ore out of the crater and bring it to the smith in Wardens Keep, you can choose what sword you want.



SpellWeaver = In the Urn of Sacred Ashes quest, before you go to Kolgrim, head to the room next to him, the other path, kill the Cultist Overseer, he has the sword.

SpellWeaver is "Arcane Warrior only" sword, got cool lightning effect. Its only sword with +magic I believe.

So I can only get starfang if I download the warden's keep?

That's right.

The smith there is the only one who makes it.

And the random event is part of the Warden's Keep DLC.

To get Ageless you have to go into the Royal Palace of Orzammar BEFORE you crown a new king, go to the Throne Room, activate the Throne, have your three companions stand on different ground plates (two right next to each other on the left side of the Throne Room and one in the entrance hall) and then kill the Dragon (not a full-sized one) that pops up and loot it's body.



It does 15 damage plus weakens nearby Darkspawn and deals +4 damage to them. It also increases stamina regeneration, hostility and intimidation. It has no rune slots.

Starfang is an amazing sword. THREE rune slots. You have no idea how much havok paralyze stones wreck on bosses.

They're all 2 handers, except that a one hander version of Starfang can be crafted if you wish.

Actually, nevermind my first post. I've just been informed that Spellweaver is in fact a one hander.



Which seems really odd to me. Do they want Arcane Warriors dual wielding or Sword-and-Boarding? That doesn't make much sense to me.

dragonslayer is called yurasis or something, u get it for a codex entry quest in circle tower.

Watchguard of the reaching. Keep an eye out for various notes in the Circle Tower. Get them all and the quest begins. Yusaris has one rune slot. I agonized over whether to equip it or Ageless on Sten. I went with Ageless except in dragon fights.

how good does paralyze runes work on 2hnd weapons since the time between hits is huge with a 2hnder.. and dunno the proc on paralyze rune.



asking it here since ppl got best 2hnder weapon combined with a paralyze rune in the above topics

While I'm not sure on the Proc rate I am almost postive it's a FLAT rate, so a Master Paralyze rune would do better on your Tank or DW person (assuming you have one of the two).

I have starfang and another really nice sword on my char, check it out. Going to go look for those other swords now
Nvm the game didnt update my info yet so i only have starfang equipped. Ill upload when i get home tonight.
