I'm going to get the content, but I can actually understand why people are complaining about the hairstyle change. Yes, people change over time, but Leliana is a fictional character. Things like a character's outfit and their hairstyle tend to be so expressive of who the character is that changing them often denotes a radical change in character.

Which is exactly the intent here. You're not playing as Origins' Leliana, you're playing Leliana the bard. And while they're the same "person," they're distinctly different characters. Some people don't like that. Not that it'll stop the rest of us who want to see Leliana's past from enjoing the DLC.

Leliana in LS is Leliana in DAO. Its just that she doesn't have the same thought process, desires, etc etc. At least, I hope so.

Yeah, she looks different. But people need to get over it.

If Bioware decided to release the "Alistair's Birth" DLC, and he popped out of mommy full grown with a smirk on his face and witty lines about it being hot in there, would people actually find that to be more app........

I think the big thing that bugs me about the hair is what somebody said before, Marjorline made it seem like Lelianna had a long flowing head of hair and then when she joined Ferelden she got a page-boy type of cut.



That also concerns me because I suspect the DLC is written by somebody other than who wrote Origins, and thus continuity might be ignored. We'll have to see.

I don't think that implies she had long hair at all. More like a different style.



I actually DID expect a ponytail, but I can agree it does look different compared to what I thought it'd be.

It makes me glad to hear that people are so intent on purchasing the DLC for more Leliana.



Its a whole change of pace from what I've been hearing elsewhere. And hell, here when it was first announced.

She must be different.... she WAS different... She was the first to admit that she was a different a person before go to the curch and before meeting you...

There are things which change the life and the personality of the person forever... and this applies also in real life... People are always different before and after some things, when these things happen in their life

The real complain would be if in this DLC she would be the same person that she is in origin... this would mean a lack of realism and a big inconsintency with what we learnt about her in DAO.

The more I'll see a different Leliana in this DLC the more I will be happy

I dunno about you but I know plenty of people that change their appearance over time, simply by a change in hair style. Is it so hard to believe that at one time she had a different hair style then she did when your PC met up with her in DAO?

That is actually how her hair should've been. I think her *secret companion* says something about her hair being like a little boy now lol.

I have this feeling that the content will be just about Leliana being bretrayed by Marjolaine... That could be interesting but we already know that part of the story. I hope they make what Leliana is doing during being a bard.

Apparently for some people, yes.

Hence my "Alistair's Birth DLC" comment.

Its relatively easy to change characters' appearance in the game using the toolset. I'll make one as soon as the DLC is available to please the Leliana purists among us (as much as I pity them, I do understand)

I have the DLC and even majorline comments in the game about how scruffy her hair is in the DLC and i think majorline says "In orlais you would be scandalised for looking like that" or sumfn along those lines

yes and of course there is a comment a certain character says that they think her hair would look good a certain way. that also makes the hairstyle change make sense.

Odd, in my newly installed DLC, she doesn't appear with any of the other characters in custscenes, and in regular pla, she doesn't HAVE hair! She's bald!! Yuck!

I totally agree. If they're younger than their hair is probably different. But on a side note doesn't anyone think that maybe one of the armors in the game should hae looked like the red one in the Dragon age Trailer? I mean alot of people love that armor and i don't see why Bioware can't just make one. I love this game but all the armors are the same and im kinda pissed. Cmon Bioware. I've already seen several examples by regular modders.
