Yes, the screenshots are lovely. And the Dalish camp scenes give me something to look forward to (I haven't been there yet). You all have such pretty dwarves. That's actually one thing that I find so endearing about my Warden, though. I deliberately made her not pretty --she's not ugly, but she's not a pretty girl by any stretch. But the Golden Boy is in love with her anyway. I know that the game doesn't know from pretty and will have its characters call your Warden beautiful no matter what she looks like, but I still like to see her rock the plain Jane thing.

Yeah i never make my character SUPEr perfect and awesome looking.i'm not brad pitt  IRL . I just think it's more arousing for a ugly guy to date Morrigan :P.

Well i'm not ugly either but eh that not what i meant.I mean we're not watching a hollywood movie .. Eh.
Well :P..Just the average looking guy..

i hope bioware  give some a Li .. But a ugly looking li .. Or average .. Why  we always ahve to date the clone of Angelina Jolie or Brad Pitts?

Remind me of Crimson in jade empire (NPC)  . She was plain looking but at the same time she was super Hot.

Yeah some people have that hard to describe"plain but hot" charm. I think dwarves could do good in this kind of charm.

I fought the Fem Dwarf Human male for a very long time. But...I finally did it. And Can tell you they had no trouble, and it's was really sweet (much thanks to TMP of course)

And the down on hisknees kisses were very nice for making it appear like we went skinny dipping in the Dalish camp

Hang on, is there supposed to be a love scene at the Dalish camp? Because I just did the Brecilian Forest quest and there was no opportunity to relax and have a skinny dip or anything else. I thought maybe after the crisis was over but no. Did I miss something? Or did you just put them near the water, take their clothes off and have them kiss in order to get this (rather sweet) screenshot?

Oghren just tells you it is too soon or something if you try to go after him. Yes my female Dwarf tried going after any other Dwarf she could find, to no avail. She ended up alone at the end...wandering into the sunset with Shale and a dog.

I chose the 'I love you, too' line to be sarcastic since he wouldn't hurry it up and tell me what he wanted and then he claimed it was too soon to start something before asking me to track down Felsi. It was kind of a WTF moment.

Try picking that option as a male Warden. "Keep yer hands where I can see 'em!"
I got a disapproval hit afterwards, but it was hilarious. Interpreting sarcasm or the lack of in a written line can be a challenge, to be sure. I've pissed off Alistair a few times for picking options I thought were just snarky when they weren't.

Okay. Say there is a Dwarf Male romance interest. What should he look like, and how should he be like personality wise? Just curious.

I like his voice, how he looks, the fact that he's a dwarf, the undying loyalty (except as far as a relationship goes but then you were presumed dead, he never expected to see you again, and he didn't really have a lot of options), the deadpan snarking, the snippets of the established relationship you do get to see, the fact he doesn't hate you for getting him exiled...

I couldn't believe that on my first play through there were no female dwarf/elf romance options! I went to the Dalish first, and did anyone else get the vibe that Valendrian's assistant was going to be a possible companion/LI at first? Or that Dagna would join you and break the whole "dwarves can't be mages" cycle somehow?

I shouldn't be stuck with the either a creepy goth chick who'll kill me in my sleep, or a bible beating girl who is a former assassin. I assume that just as in real life, most normal women are taken in Ferelden.

We've seen how well companion mods like Ser Gilmore NPC can add fully integrated and voiced companions with decent romance options, so I'm surprised nobody did one adding a female dwarf/elf yet.

I am generally surprised that they didn't give an option/companion dwarf who you could romace. Orghen was kinda I feel in a way thrown in the game last minute ( but that's probably just me). Why not make him an LI? I haven't done a play through as a dwarf yet but I would be more inclined too if there was an dwarven LI...

Oghren being a dwarf isn't enough to make me get over how old, gross, alcoholic, and vulgar he is for me to ever consider making him a LI on ANY character.

Ehh, he's supposed to be 30-odd. So few years older than Teagan and few years younger than Duncan. I didn't realize that's the age that makes people too old to become LI... poor Duncan.

It would make him too old to be my LI and Duncan's already disqualified on account of his tragic living-impairment.

I just found it odd because it's not like it's age that makes people go "zomg scandal" when paired with a 20-something and i thought you had some characters around that age.

To me, he looks late thirties which is borderline middle-age. I think the toolset lists his age at 38 which, while that's not always reliable information, seemed to fit. My characters are usually in their early twenties which is a little older than me and I've never been a fan of May-December romances.

He's said to be 35 in the Toolset Posted Image  probably looks older due to all the drinking and the experiences he's gone through. And honestly, this is the first time i hear this particular bracket in context of "May-December romance" with a 20-odd. If anything, it seems to be more common belief instead that men need some extra years just to be on par with 20-something women when it comes to maturity level, on average.

(of course, Oghren can hardly strike anyone as mature even at that age... on the surface, at least)

I haven't looked at it in awhile but I knew it was mid-thirties. Maybe mid-thirties and mid-twenties isn't May-December but I'd say mid-thirties and nineteen would be.

And I think the notion that men are supposed to be significantly older than their LI to be absolutely ridiculous, honestly.

Teagan does have a bit of a fanclub. Sylvanaerie is his number one fan.
