Yeah. Yeah. I know this has been brought up like 6000000 times but will bioware ever fix this flagginb bug i mean if there going to make a game where choise determins what happens shouldnt they at least make sure it works? and have they ever one responded to this question when its been asked in the past or have they just been mute?
I find it kinda sad that bioware Since Neverwinter Nights has bothered to fix thier own games. it just seems like they stoped carring about the quality after NWN.

Maybe it isn't a bug and Bioware just decided that they would have Conrad think you put a gun in his face because they're lazy?

Obviously the one choice you're SUPPOSED to make is putting a gun in his face, just like how you're supposed to try and stop the Reapers.

well, it would be boring to just do the paragon outcome and just get a nice email from him in me2. i'd rather have it go crazy and try to act tough. also, his mission gets you a discount from a weapon shop.

This. I've decided personally that BioWare knows that it's bugged, but decided to force it to the way it is now because Paragon players would otherwise be denied a sidequest. It's more or less to make it fair to players on all sides of the spectrum.HBC Dresden wrote...

Except that Renegade players who decided to let Gianna and Anoleis have a shoot-out in his office would also be denied access to a side-quest, so that's not likely to be the reason.

I believe that since the bug is not "game braking", that it will likley not be patched. I have brought this topic up several times and I always get similar answers, some say it's supposed to be that way, which insn't true, and others have said that without it, you would be denied a discount. I believe that even though Conrad's quest isn't there, there is likley a paragon route that allows you to still get the discount. As for people who claim it's supposed to be that way, if you check the Mass Effect Wikia, you will see that it is bugged, and it tells you what the paragon route should have been. All we can do is hope that they will fix this issue, as it was said, this is a game where your decisions affect the world around you, and this should reflect on imported Paragon characters, as well as Renegades who find Gianna back from the dead.
