On my first playthrough in ME1 I was with Liara, and when I imported that playthrough into ME2 I stayed loyal to Liara. On different imports with different Shepards, I've gotten with various others, but I must say that Tali's romance was definitely the best.

Two of my Shepards had no LI in ME1, both romanced Thane in ME2.

Two of my Shepards that romanced Kaidan, one romanced Thane and one romanced Garrus.

My vanguard will stay loyal to Kaidan.

Hell to the no! Ash totally flipped out on Horizon, I thought she was smart and that her belief in God as well as her reciting poetry made her deep, but what my Shep had with her is in the past now. My Shep got to know Miranda, fell in love with her body and her mind as well as her determination and leadership that made her and my Shep so compatible, and the rest is history.

No way...I didn't get to pick who I wanted in ME1. I chose Liara on first playthrough and Kaidan on second, because those were FemShep's choices. I tried for Ash on MaleShep playthrough, but I guess I messed it up, because I ended up alone. LOL

I'm currently playing ME1 over again for the sole purpose of creating a romance-free FemShep who saves herself for Garrus in ME2.

Yes, though her apology doesn't make up for the fact that we had been away two years, I assumed she had moved on and I did the same. You're right though, her apology does suggest she still wants you, but I see this as a new choice, you can either acknowlege the message and continue the romance into ME3 or you can ignore it and move on, hopefully if Ash can see Shep's side, she won't go ballistic when she finds out that Shep moved on.

I am very interested in how Bioware plans to pull off the Romances in Me3. So many variables... Shep could betray, stay loyal, switch on a whim, cheat, etc.

This storyline would be fun just for how messed up Shepard would be afterward:
- Started to romance Ash.... then she dies.
- Fooled around with Kelly... then she got juiced.
- Finally gets close to Tali and she doesn't survive the suicide mission.

(and you thought Morinth was the Black Widow....)
And yes, I did stay loyal in the save I want to carry over to ME3.

I stayed loyal to Liara on 2 playthroughs
I romanced Kelly on another (no ME1 LI)
I plan to romance Samara if poss in ME3 with a playthrough with no LI so far.

Only in 2 of the 6 careers....



I cheated on Liara twice. 1 with Miranda. The other with Tali. The temptation was too much. I stayed loyal to Liara for my 3rd male Shepard.



Then out of my 3 femSheps I have 1 who stayed loyal to dear old Kaiden. Then a renegade femShep who left Kaiden to die in ME1, romanced & slept with Jacob BUT broke up with him after the Suicide Mission. Then finally my 3rd one wasn't an import and instead started with no attachments and I kept her that way thru ME2. As a result Thane, Garrus, and Jacob had to die.



Perhaps she'll get the chance to romance Kaiden in Mass Effect 3. That's my hope anyways. None of the other male love interests are as cool as him.

I personally stayed loyal on both playthroughs so far, because really the options my characters got... well one of them gets Kelly-flirt points, because she's the only one I like (say what you will about her attitude, but I just have to like someone so ... loving. And I don't think she was the source of the scale itch, either ). But I really have problems with the idea of someone who was dating someone, in their mind, up to two days ago, running off with someone else anyway.

Bah, that E-mail meant absolutely nothing to me and only increased my hatred for her.

You don't just blow up in someone's face like that when you haven't seen them in 2 years.
