I started another playthrough on my main Male Shep with the intention of staying loyal to Liara, but I'm tempted to go with Miranda. I guess I could use another character for it though. So yeah, staying loyal this time I guess. Really just curious how BW treats the romances in ME3 and I felt kinda bad for cheating on Liara.

Pretty much. I flirted with Kelly but I'm not sure if I kept a save where she visited me later. Going into the final mission, Liara's picture was up though.

Jane couldn't hold herself with Thane. John screwed up the first time and romanced Miranda, but is staying loyal to Ashley next time!

Kelly doesn't count as a LI.


I couldn't become interested in the new LIs as FemShep... Jacob is too bland, and the flirting really cringe worthy, Garrus is an old friend and I can't see him that way, and it's kinda creepy with Thane. Yup, I stayed faithful to Liara.

Playing as Sheploo, I intentionally didn't get involved with anyone in ME1 to be able to romance Tali guilt free.

I stayed loyal to liara. I didn't like how the romances played out in ME2, it seemed rushed.

For paragon, I romanced Liara in ME1 and then Miranda in ME2, but then I broke it off with Miranda after the suicide mission. For renegade I didn't have an ME1 LI and I went for Miranda.

No way...I didn't get to pick who I wanted in ME1. I chose Liara on first playthrough and Kaidan on second, because those were FemShep's choices. I tried for Ash on MaleShep playthrough, but I guess I messed it up, because I ended up alone. LOL

Definitely...and I still can't see how, exactly.
I was a Renegade douchebag to just about everyone in that PT, but I was sweet as pie to Ash, and she still dissed me.  Oh, well.

IF you slept with Miranda though I'm pretty sure your "loyalty" to Liara will have been broken as well.

Meaning that there will be "consequences" as Bioware puts it. Not at all sure what those consequences will be of course but I don't think the game will say that you stayed loyal to Liara just because you broke it off with Miranda post sex and suicide mission.

But I may be wrong. Did Liara's picture on your desk appear again after you broke it off with Miranda?

I wish there was a way to see how many people stayed loyal to that b*tch Ashley...

Lol, once the deed is done you can't "stay loyal". Or maybe BW will offer wandering players some piecemeal option and "begging" their original LI to take them back... not that Shep would beg, but otherwise the player market might feel austracised... lol

Stayed loyal to Ash in a couple playthroughs... cheated on her in the rest to see the romances. However, I'll be taking my Ash playthroughs and one Miranda one into ME3.



Ash, Miranda a close second > rest

I dislike the terms "loyal", "faithful", and "cheating". It's more of did you move on or not in my book.

For my three playthroughs so far, all of my femSheps have not moved on. They're still holding out for Kaidan - for one reason or another. I have a femShep in ME1 that I'm playing that will come through with no romance active that will be getting with Garrus. I also plan on making a maleShep that will likely romance anything with a skirt.

I have to agree with you there, Sapphy. It's much closer to moving on than staying loyal.

I'll admit i tried all the romances to see how they worked out, but i think on my carry over play through ill be staying loyal to ash. I feel like she just has the best written romance

I stayed loyal to my Mass Effect love interest, due solely to the fact that I found none of the females attractive in ME2. I was more tempted to go inter-species gay with Garrus. Alas, he wouldn't take me.

I do not have LI's in my main character.

I did with my Renegon  though I forgot, so I don't see it as not staying loyal with that character when I got it on with someone else because I completely forgot I had an LI in ME 1 with that character.
