During one play-through, I stayed loyal to Ash. Given the odd scenes in ME2, I started to avoid them in other play-throughs regardless if I had romanced anyone in ME1.

For example: Jack's scene was very touching, but it seemed like she switched off the Jack persona like a light-switch and became the scared little Patient 0 girl crying under her desk at the facility (and switched Jack back on immediately afterward). The rest seemed equally awkward. (I actually half-expected Tali to have a "thing" for Reegar [and vice-versa] given her request to save specifically him as well as her joy when he survives as well as the banter between them during her trial.)

In ME1 I romanced Ash and stayed loyal through ME2.

she "opened" my femsheps eyes in so many ways :-)
and no one went such lenths to prove her dedication as Liara (see the comic book as well). others just "moved on" after we saved them contless times their butts and would have permitted sheps body to be delivered to the collectors which would have really be a worst case scenario for shep.

Why is it Liara lovers always try to put out this nonsense? Did the other crew members know that Shep's body was going to be delivered to the Collectors? Did they know Shep's body had been recovered at all? Guess what, when someone's dead, there's nothing else to be done for them. Normal people grieve, honor the memory of the fallen, and move on, because as far as any of the crew members could tell at the time there was no way to bring the dead back to life.

My Shep didn't ask Liara to bring her back. She wouldn't have known one way or the other. Ultimately, everyone dies. So this whole "omgz shep owez liara his/her life" BS is exactly that.. BS. Yeah, my Shep thanks her for bringing her back to fight and eventually die again. Especially considering how little my Shep interacted with Liara, it was definitely a one-sided obsession thing. Gag me with a spoon already.

This, though with the Liara DLC I'm hopping on the bandwagon and making a Liara playthrough. Main will remain Tali though(no romance in ME1).

Stayed loyal to both Ashley (maleshep) and Liara (femshep) in my main paragon and renegade playthroughs and then started playing around in some new games which i've since deleted.

I didn't feel the need to 'cheat' when it wasn't necessary.

Ash was my love interest in ME1 and I didn't stay loyal. I ended up with Miranda. :innocent:

As much as I loved flirting with Miri, I did stay loyal to Ashley. Much better romance IMO.

All my Shep's stays loyal to Liara despite sad attempt of ME 2 writers to push them in hands of new Lis.

Mr "i am busy whit calibrations" ? - booooring...

Mr " i am dying"? - no comment.

Mr "i am best pilot in the galaxy"? - trust me if my Sheps would have in off authority he would end in Alliance prison.



I really hope that at least this one devs promise that staying loyal will "payd off" in ME 3.

My primary Shep stayed loyal to Kaidan, but only cuz Samara turned me down. Dang. Actually, the whole rejection worked out wonderfully because I had qualms about "cheating" but I liked Samara way too much not to try. And it doesn't count as "cheating." Forbidden love works just fine for me.



My other ME1 import stayed loyal to Liara.

My ME2 LI is my original LI.

I romanced Liara in ME1, and was a bit curious and intrigued by Miranda in ME2 up until I reunited with Liara on Illium. Even despite her story about fighting to get my body back from the shadow broker, I was a little mad at her for the direction she chose after Normandy SR1 was attacked. I'm alive now, right? Screw the shadow broker and come help me save the galaxy (again). If it's really bothering you, we can come whoop his ass later.



After that... as much as it bothered me, Liara had made her choice. Engine room in 5 minutes.

Yes on my main playthrough, And on my second playthrough aswell really. But thought one wasn't for want of trying actually.



My main paragon male Sheperd stayed loyal to Ashley (despite the temptation of Jack mostly.)



My renegade femshep stayed loyal to Liara because Samara shot me down (and coincidentally ended up getting shot down herself on the suicide mission) and Kelly doesn't apparently count.

Only true buddies you got are Garrus, Tali and Wrex, JOker, and Dr. Chakwas...

Tali was the natural option.

I've only played it once, and my charrie *Fem/Para/Engi* stayed loyal to Kaiden. At least in her canon version. I had a few saves earlier, so there I have 3 saves where I've romanced the 3 guys in ME2. But technically, she's still loyal.

My Paragon Adept maybe a good guy and a gentleman... but he sure as hell draws the line at being called a traitor and drop kicked after he saves a damn colony.
