Looks like your only purpose in this thread, instead, is to post personal attacks directed to me. tedious, but whatever floats your boat, mate. Given the time you dedicate to me, I must entertain you quite a lot. :wizard:

At least i bring arguments to the table.

Sorry, but that wasn't an attack. i was simply trying to show you the irony of your post, but i guess you missed that.. typical..

EDIT: Nice detering tactic, btw. you seem to be very good at that when you've got nothing else to say.

So long as I can actually play the game longer than 2 hours at a time I'll be happy.

You can break the transmission of your car and still drive it. F1 drivers pull their cars for tens of laps with a broken trasmission quite often.
The fact that you can drive it doesn't make it any less broken. The whole reason why you get it "repaired" it's because it's "broken".

I said quite a lot of things through the thread. The difference between you and me is that your only argument is "he's a troll. Don't feed the troll" repeated over and over, in a tedious sequence of posts that can only be identified as spam and personal attacks.

Just for your information and benefit, a troll is someone that lacks any kind of link with the topic of an online environment and goes to that environment exclusively to stir controversy. A customer is inherently linked with the topic of a product-related environment, and conplains in order to see his rights as a customer respected.
I'm sorry if it debunks your attempts to attack me personally since you evidently can't counter my arguments, but
that's all there's to it.

yea, because that's what's going on.. you've repeated the exact same argument for an entire thread. "professionalism" this and "fanboy" that. THAT is spam. sorry, but you're wrong again. and as for the troll comments, don't act like a troll then you won't BE a troll.

You would be an excellent politician, discussing the same useless things over and over and over in 20 different ways while in the real world there are potholes, kids are under educated. and drug is running in the streets which are real problems.

And the subject of your discussion would be "proffesionalism"? which at this point no matter how you spin it, nobody cares about what you say amnd how you spin it.... I guess you don't get the message people are trying to tell you politely.....

Why dont you guys just post the updates weekly then lock the thread? Nothing productive comes after that first post.

No offense guys, but we are not involved with the patch on a development level, and there are other threads that BUGS have been posted.

The fact that in the rest of the world there are bigger problems would mean that no one should talk about smaller problems?
This is a forum related to a product, and we're here to talk about that product and how it's handled. If you want to talk about under educated kids, drug trafficking and similar problems, I'm sure you can find shelter in the off topic forum, or even better, in another forum dedicated to such problems.

I find it quite ironic though, since a typical politician trick is to claim that there are "bigger problems" in order to try and silence voices of dissent.

And the subject of your discussion would be "proffesionalism"? which at this point no matter how you spin it, nobody cares about what you say amnd how you spin it.... I guess you don't get the message people are trying to tell you politely.....

You seem to be quite bent on talking for everyone. You may have to reread the thread, since there are many voices that express the same concepts as I do, just as many or probably more than the ones that continue to attack me personally because they lack the arguments to counter what I say. The fact that they continue to post the same things over and over (funny how you accuse me of doing that, when you and others have done exactly the same) dorsn't really increase their (small) number.

Nobody is attacking you personally. Just because we don't agree with your opinions or the way you behave here that doesn't make it a personal attack.

Everyone here gets or has gotten loud and clear what you are saying about the game and Bioware, and most of us agree but you coming in and chiming in on every little comment everyone makes or trying to belittle everyone who has some different point of view as yours borders on the verge of...mmmm i do not know....

Take a chill pill and relax and stop trying to make people see the world as you see it, it aint gonna happen....you can agree to disagree with someone but stop doing the belittle thing you are doing....it just makes you look immature.

I'm curious Memmaatre? How exactly can you not play awakening? Honest question.

I wrote down all "bugs" I had in another topic somewhere on this message board. The thing is that I played the original game and since I liked it A LOT I actually begun writing down the bugs I encountered (I dont have them here now cause they are on another machine). However I did this so I could "help" BW with an upcoming patch to make an almost perfect RPG almost perfect :) Though the bug list on the original game became so short that is was no idea to even send it to BW. (I’m not talking about hardcore stat issues because those are always present and could be discussed like balance and so on). The most irritating thing was that my diary said that I killed one person when I choose to let that one live :) and one crash I believe - so I bought Awakening....

I’m not going to list all the bugs once more (check my other post if it interest someone) just answer your question - because I cannot open the mine in Wending Woods - the female elf - (ohh my god its a long time since I played I notice since I’m no longer remember her name) entered my game two times in the same "movie" but not again since then... I could perhaps finish the game as in "play it avoiding all bugs" but that is not how I play RPG´s ---- I want to be able to have a go at it like the original and that is "kind of free roaming" - at least not avoid / not do some quests cause they are bugged. So these Wending wood thingy together with about 15 crashes to desktop and all other small but annoying bugs made me go looking for a patch - sadly as we all know by now - none is released.

Mem out  with warning about me is being tired so grammatically this is perhaps not a beauty...! :o

It takes two to tango. Every time I come here i see always the same arguments from the B.D.F.
"the problem is your computer"
"you probably don't even have an antivirus"
"I've never experienced bugs so they don't exist"
"The game is ALMOST perfect!"
up to extremes like "buy a new computer!"

Reread the thread and you'll find all of the examples mentioned, plus more, often repeated multiple time by the same person.
This is both belittling the people that have problems with the game and their right to enjoy it, and artificially downplaying the problems for some weird agenda.

At the risk of getting a ban for posting in opposition, at least three of those examples are all from the same user and I've even replied to them telling them they are more than just wrong (when saying its something to do with the person's rig, when it obviously is not). All i've stated is not every game is exactly the same since some people have the bugs and some don't, but i got flamed anyway as if i were saying it was user-error (which i did not). So if you are aiming that at me in any way (which you usually do) then i'm sorry, but you're wrong again. but as i said, that's IF it was aimed at me.

Alright, so those who are saying the game is unplayable, are not referring to it actually not being able to be played, but saying it's got so many bugs you don't want to play it... I think I understand now, which makes everything I've written before kind of pointless.

That's an opinion, also it is my opinion. You may not agree with it, but you should respect it.

You have the right to explain what your problems with the game are. You can't come here and insult everyone who disagrees with your personal opinion while being dismissive of ours as "famboyism" and deaf-acclaim.

It depends, for instance I get one crash to desktop every five minutes (when I'm actually lucky, sometimes the screen just freezes, forcing me to reboot) sin ce 1.3. Before then I got about one every 20 minutes.
I'd say that the game was hardly playable even when the interval was 20 though.

Also, when you are aiming for one story outcome, and that story outcome can't happen becuse the story is bugged, it can be very well defined "Unplayable".

"unplayable" doesn't just mean that you can't get past the loading screen.

"almost perfect" obviously means that it's very near to perfection, and there are several tens of reported bugs and problems, memory leaks and crash issues for a lot of users.
If a game like that is "almost perfect" , how would you define a game that has only five or six minor issues? "godly"?

Opinions need to have at the very least some basis in reality. Otherwise they are hallucinations.

A sound idea.

Lock the thread and make due with weekly, short updates (Even if it's onlyy a short line a la "still working on the patch; nothing new to report"). Just don't go into radio silence for months -because that's nothing short of frustrating for any fan browsing the forum for news.
