To all of you that are fed up with
Bioware go play something else.
we are. This doesn't change that we also are paying customers, and have the right to play the game we paid for without problems, and to complain as much as we see fit until that happens.
I have to agree with
oblivionenss in this case, especially in the case of you. I have my own complaints, but I'm haven't become blind-sighted by my disappointment with BW. Considering it seems you can't do anything but complain, I personally think your posting rights on these forums should be yanked until the new patch is released. This thread has gained 10 pages of people responding to his crying in under 36 hours.

Abriael for Bioware president, that is all.
Bah! If he becomes president, I call for impeachment.

I have a plan....a great one folks!, lets make a patch to patch Abriael from whining.
It's hardly going to speed up the process by b****ing & moaning about it like a child. If anything, it's only going to prolong the release of the patch or make so less bug fixes make it in the patch because they have to keep addressing his crying. I'm surprised that he still has posting rights when nothing positive can come out of his mouth. He sets an example for trolls.

I want the game fixed. I don't understand why everyone keeps saying that it is unplayable when it isn't. Most issues don't ruin the gameplay. Right, the wrong character is recognized as king. Does that ruin 50+ hours of game. It doesn't!
The game is only unplayable to certain people. I personally don't hit the crash bugs (not the one that most people are talking about anyways), but that's just because of my system specs. Certain bugs could be considered as game-breaking, but some of them are at least avoidable.

And Abriael_CG, while you are entitled to your opinion, by this point in the discussion we are all painfuly aware of what your issues are. There is no longer any need for you to repeat them ad nauseam in your high-handed tone of sensationalist hyperbole. Repeating your arguments loudly and often does not make your opinions more correct or valid. If you cannot argue your position without the terms "fanboy," "professionalism," "sloppy," or "paying customer," I'm afraid I will have to start editing or removing your posts as spam.
this is not, as you might think, to stifle any and all criticism of our company, our games, and our processes, but to keep the discussion on-topic and moving along. continuing to dwell on the same comments and ideas over and over, especially in your rather confrontational tone, is counter-productive to the purpose behind our communication in these update threads.
@Stanley Woo: are you seriously telling me that talking about "professionalism" is a sensationalistic hyperbole? And here i was thinking that it's the very basic of any kind of service/business.
If it's not to stifle criticism, I wonder why your message is directed exclusively to me, and not as well to the ones that defend you guys, with the same (or often worse, i sure didn't Insult anyone, but some quite creative insults have been directed to me) confrontational tone, and repeating ad libitum the same concepts as well.
The comment was directed at you because you've been throwing a tantrum like a 2 year old ever since you found out about them working on the new patch (possibly longer, but I've only noticed it in these threads). If you want people to stop singling you out as a child throwing a tantrum, then grow up & speak like adult. Isn't the age requirement for this site 18? Grow up & act like it!!!

Why dont you guys just post the updates weekly then lock the thread? Nothing productive comes after that first post.
No offense guys, but we are not involved with the patch on a development level, and there are other threads that BUGS have been posted.
A sound idea.
Lock the thread and make due with weekly, short updates (Even if it's onlyy a short line a la "still working on the patch; nothing new to report"). Just don't go into radio silence for months -because that's nothing short of frustrating for any fan browsing the forum for news.
That makes sence to me. I've only been using these forums for a couple months after finding out about the problems with the 1.03 patch (after installing it) & I can see that threads
will be destroyed with spam, flaming & trolling given enough time (and it don't take long at that). I would be better to post the thread, sticky it & lock it as soon as it's posted (like an announcement). The Xfire forums usually don't even allow you to post in important threads like this & I think that given the history of threads just on this patch alone, the BW forums shouldn't either.

Abriael_CGIf they're not going to ban you from then forums, then I want an ignore button so I don't have to read your constant complaining everytime you post.

Stanley WooA big thanks for finally stepping in and placing some order in this thread. When I came back after 2 days & found 10 pages added to this thread, I already knew that it was going to be over an argument & flamiing. Hopefully this will be my last post refering to the flaming/arguing, but I needed to get a few things out...
@thread in general
Alright. This thread is supposed to be about the upcoming patch, which means only discussions about bugs & patches are on-topic. As with any (decent) forum, flaming should be responded to with warnings/banning as needed, so please
try to keep the attitude to a minimum. I may not be an Admin/Moderator on these forums, but I can tell when people have stepped over the line & I'm going to start reporting such posts as spam/harrassment if it continues.
