Anyone else find this to be one heck of an annoying part? ive been stuck in it for the last 2 hours or so and just decided to quit and take a breather. Its not hard, its just very annoying =/

I find having to watch the cutscene at the beginning more annoying. All because I hit "Next" (or preset) accidentally and wiped the char. I had been carefully building. Was quite peeved.
But getting into the fade (the first time in the origin story) is about a 20 minute deal. Annoying if you have to redo it, but it's basically harmless. I didn't even find the riddles hard. It just seems so long....from start to getting full control.

I think the OP means the Broken Circle quest, not the mage origin. 
A fun change of pace IMO, with the different forms, and it made me want to play a mage with Crushing Prison. Maybe Fireball as well, but mainly the Prison.
EDIT: How and where are you stuck? Need any pointers?
