You can't take the throne as a male Cousland without marrying a common viper of a woman
Why do you care so much about becoming the King of Ferelden? You're the most famous hero of Ferelden and you probably have more influence than the King himself anyway.

If you want to marry alistair you have no choice but to let Morrigan do him. which I am sure causes him trauma and nightmares for life.
LOL ..Stop treating Allistair like a posession.Personnaly it's would not take much to convince me to do it with a beauty like Morrigan .. to save my life .. ermmm

Even if Zevran is 100 percent in love with you he never straight out says it.
despite at least two conversations Zevran has about tattoos on his body the only one he actually has is on his face..
I don't care about Zevran .. Has i never really romanced him .. i tend to pick male and i'm hetero. So he don't yell it like a little highschool girl.Man i remember in highschool .. My girlfriend would ask me each hours - DO you love me?
The vilain got a weird face .. You know it's a game with pixel and limitation
TIme .. Money .. you know stuff like this.
metalcraze33 wrote...
Even if you tell Leliana she should accept she is meant to be a bard she still whines about the maker all the time
Than kick her from your group if you don't respect her
I completly agreemetalcraze33 wrote...
You can't kill Anora

Zevran says the prey deserves a clean death when the hunt ends but still uses poison on his victims.
You can't romance sten cause you know he's all epic and stuff.
It's a video game .. In a videogame you have gameplay feature.Your character ain<t level 20 .. He's a character.
Your character don't have a timerfor shield bash story wise .. It's for gameplay .Morrigan can shapeshift into a dog storywise .. but not gameplaywise...Do you follow me?
Seriously .. some of bioware should explain it to people .. Monster scale because it's for gameplay and has nothing to do with the story .TImer on spell hav enothing to do with the story.
Next we might see a book from gaider with
-Oh snap ..
Arggg .. i'm dead .. i need to reload my last save.Geez ... i have to reexplain that part for you .. now now ... here we goo .. Oh geez memory leak.

bowing to Allistair in Awakenings when my character was a human noble that i made king
.... so damn glad i saved before the landsmeet ...
not being able to rename your saves so that you can have easier to read branches if i make certain decisions (ie switiching to blood mage or having "the warden" sleep with Leliana and/or Morrigan
not getting the corruption helmet till the end
i agree with the human commoner origin. and how come the only way an elf can learn magic is from humans ... ridiculous ... should have been a mage origin from a Dalish controlled angle
drak skinned character, but pale skinned parents

STUPID SYNCRONISED DEATH ANIMATIONS THAT HAPPEN ALL THE TIME AND ARE NEVER ANIMATED WELL.
SOME REALLY DARK, MATURE, GRITTY, MATURE, DARK HEROIC STUFF IN THIS GAME.

Fallout 3 handled this problem reasonably well (though not perfectly) with the PC's father. It can be done. The idea of making your father resemble your character was good in principle, even if the exectution wasn't perfect. But Bioware didn't even try.
I've tried making a non-white human noble Warden, but I just can't do it. The immersion and suspention of disbelief is utterly destroyed from the word go.

Fair enough, but then I propose an even simpler solution: Limit the character creation process so as to not allow a non-white human noble.Jestina wrote...
Well most of the land is based off like Irish, England and Scotland...not African as has been stated many times.
Besides, the idea of non-white people (including nobles) in a European-style setting isn't completely impossible, or even improbable. The Moors (African descent) dominated Spain for centuries. And the Mongols (Asian descent) once invaded Europe, and almost certainly would have successfully conquered it if not for a very fortunate quirk of history.

If they did that then people would be screaming racism. Just make a dark-skinned character and pretend they were adopted... or that Eleanor was naughty. Easy fix.

And here's one that really pisses me off: I can't wear the Warden Commander armor in Awakenings, where I actually am the Warden Commander! What's up with that?

Wouldn't work, at least not to my satisfaction. A noble family would place way too much importance on bloodline. An adopted or bastard child would not officially be considered a "real" Cousland, regardless of how s/he was raised and treated by the Couslands.Sabariel wrote...

And yet the Couslands are not a regular noble family. They let their daughter train to fight nor have they arranged a marriage for her at the ripe ol' age of 20. I doubt they would care much about bloodlines the way others do.JergenKajaton wrote...

Examples being:
1) Jowan and Lily attempt to escape tower (Mage origin)
1a) Lily, who already forsaken her vows, by helping Jowan, goes all 'priest-like' and casts Jowan away after practically saving her with an AWESOME blood magic spell (wish I can push multiple enemies on the ground with my mage)
2) Taelen (Dalish Elf origin) touching the mirror, after REPEATEDLY telling him not to
3) Alistair whining because I killed Connor when it was HIS idea in the first place
And some extra ones that just plain annoyed me:
4) The Hermit and his damn questions/answers crap
5) How long the Deep Roads is (Inventory always runs out)
6) Stupid blurry Fade
6a) How long the Fade is
7) The one templar at Lake Calenhad who tried to deny me from entering the tower
8) Loghain's face (never liked it)
9) Broodmother tentacles
10) Blackstone Irregulars' quests

I want either action or turn-based, not some ungainly hybrid - Either make decent AI for action style or none at all and go turn-based. The system seems to be a carbon copy of everquest combat system but instead of a group of intelligent players i'm lumbered with birdbrain AI that would probably injure itself eating mashed bananas with a plastic spoon.

Agreed, to an extent. The bugs in landing messy kills was ridiculous at times.

Ooooh baaad idea.. Back then turn based was cool and quite ubiquitous, but I am not looking forward to taking turns in DA:O.

Everquest is not the only RPG game that is not based on turn-style. WOW, Diablo series, Lost Kingdoms, Star Ocean Till the End of Time, were free paced.

I roleplayed this as me giving the armor back to the family it came from as an heirloom; your mileage may vary.

bad looking, slow 2 hander animations - If the sword is really that heavy it has no business being in combat. No real sword is so heavy that it has to be swung like that. Is Silverite the Feralden translation for Lead?
unsymmetrical armor
male running animations
restrictive camera that can't be fixed with mods
unmoddable party limit
I would've loved to have capes. Black Templar Armor with a flowing black cape would have just completed my wardens look. Sadly It will never happen.
TEEEEEGAAAN!!!
Fergus after origin. Sorry brother, more important things to do.
too few urn choices. I wanted to smash it, or just take the whole thing. No such option.
I wanted to save my mom. It was just a pointlessly tragic death unless you look at it as "making the warden stronger" which is still meh worthy.
My warden didn't seem too broken up about having his entire life destroyed. He just saw his home ransacked and burned by someone who is supposed to be a close family friend, Howe. Everyone he grew up with died except Fergus, who might as well have been dead. He saw his dying father with blood gushing out everywhere and then abandoned his mother to likely be raped and killed by howes thugs... and other than a couple lines of dialogue its like it never happened.
Can't destroy your phylactery as a mage.
Oh hey Wynne and other mages. Don't mind all the blood gushing everywhere when I break my neck. Not performing blood magic or anything, really, don't even react.
The Fade after going through it twice. Thank the spaghetti monster for the skip the fade mod.
The fact that Loghain turned out to be a pretty cool guy. I spent the whole game hating him, killed him on my first playthrough and on the next one decided to spare him. I haven't killed him since.
Vengeance on Howe was not nearly satisfying enough. I hoped for some more dialogue with him, and then to be able to kill his entire family. At least I was able to have his son hanged in awakening.

THIS, oh my god, THIS. Even attempting to swing like this would result in being immediately skewered, anyway.

Well he's built up throughout the entire game as, despite the fact that he betrayed Cailan, as a hero who would do -anything- for Fereldan. In fact I could very well make an argument that his betrayal was justified, as Cailan's stupidity would almost certainly get a lot of people killed and potentially endanger the entire nation.
