Well, I know I have seen this same problem around, but no real fix for the problem other
then Bioware stepping in.

I am trying to get the Overlord and Kamumi DLC for ME2.

When trying to add points or buy the DLC I receive an error of
"Internal Error. The server encountered an error and could not complete your request.
If the problem persists, please report your problem and mention this error message and
the query that caused it. "

EA Support has been looking at the problem for a week and so far no luck.  They
do not seem to be aware of this issue or really how to fix it.  EA support was so
mystified they wanted to just give me 1/2 the points needed, but they could not even
get them into my account. 

Bioware staff, it appears you can fix this problem fairly quickly for other users.
