Just saw a ME2 video with Omega in it and it made me think... Space combat in the asteroid field around omega could be really, really fun.

Can you imagine how will commence Space combat? You're just flying into the new system, and you are being attacked hostile ships?
Or only in certain gaming moments?
It's ridiculous. In the final ME2 Normandy one salvo destroyed ship collectors, many times greater than the size of Normandy.
Who do you want to fight in space? From pirates and mercenaries, ships Gehts apostates? In Reaper, only heavy dreadnoughts.
Cyber systems installed in EDI can hack PROTECTIVE system of any ship. Just reload the mass effect core hostile ship and explode it! You did not know about it?
Boring shooting very annoying, especially when the replay is not the first time.
If the developers will make space battles, they will be an important part of the game, but I do not much want to constantly come up against hostile ships, just flying into another system.
What interesting in constant shooting? In the ME3 to be a constant exertion of the storyline, but tiring shooting spoils everything.
